Still struggling with the Al Kaline moments...

I have 2 left to unlock Al Kaline and they have been the most frustrating moments I can remember doing. The 2 I have left are the one where you have to hit 2 XBH at polo grounds. The fielders can run down any ball and of course the mission where you have to several games to get 2 HR, 4XBH, etc? I’ve tried normal swinging them and spamming power swing and both are on rookie. Any tips that really helped you complete these? Just wanna be done for the program stars...thanks all!

On the multi game one, don’t forget you can always dashboard a game before the final out and it won’t count. That way you can repeat it if you were not doing well.

Oh yeah that’s what i Usually do but these homeruns and XBH seem impossible with how he swings the bat.

I am stuck on the same two Kaline moments. Have tried the 2 XBH many times and lucky to see even one. I was able to glide through Granderson, but the Kaline reward is probably not worth the continued effort given the way he hits.

These moments are a bit advanced but if you switch to directional, hold up and wait for a good pitch, you should get it done. Kaline was famous for doing this during his career.

I got so lucky with the polo fields one, literally you just have to pray that you hit two homeruns

In addition to using directional, which does seem to help with moments, there is also the batting tutorial pseudo-cheat. Gomesdalegend has a youtube video on it. It's cheesy, but if you really want to get it done, that can help with at least one XBH.

I hear you. It is so weird how these moments play so differently person to person. I breezed through Kaline but the Posada moments are brutal for me. So many here thought they were easy. Bizarre. Keep at it, good luck.

These last two have been a pain in my [censored] as well. I have these plus one of the pudge that I can’t beat. It seems like thefe is always one they say is on rookie or veteran where no matter what you do it’s failure

I haven't had many issues with the moments this year. But I also skip over some that I deem too frustrating (Bob gibson: 9 IP, do not allow 1 run). Usually 1 of the 2 online missions is very simple and with the 'play vs cpu' mission there's always an option to skip at least 1 moment.

To dashboard during a moment, close the application before the final out and it won’t count. That way you can repeat it in multi game moments to get what you need.

Been stuck on the 2 XBH one for ages and have been thinking that I must be the most terrible player ever. So am glad to have come on and seen this here.
I did the other one and was cruising. I pretty much only needed 2 hits and 1 HR with 3 games to go but then never got the HR (and forgot about the dashboard option).

I just use directionsl hitting and wait for a good pitch. I think i had anninside the prknhr or two on the kaline moments. Look for the shift also
