Why no collection reward for finest

I skipped that voucher for Elly, I would still collect them all if they threw a bone and gave a reason to collect all the finest cards. Would it have been that hard to throw a Marte or Skubal or really anyone to give incentive to collect all those cards. No finest card in the event program, none in conquest or mini seasons? Seems very lazy and uninspired. Should have just made Elly the finest reward if they didn’t have anyone else to use, and made the big collection epic w Gagne, Lee smith along the way to an absolutely juiced Clemons or biz

They're just giving people what they say they want - it's the same reason there's no Team Affinity. If you make people work, they say its a greedy paywall.
Yeah, I know TA is free, but people will still say its a greedy paywall.
If you put cards in mini seasons, people say "dont wanna do it." Put them in Events and people say "dont wanna do it". You can even put them in Exchanges, and people will still say...you guessed it...

A lot of these collections did not have progressive collection rewards and I miss that. I'm less likely to try to collect 55 finest and in turn buy packs and/or use the market for cards I probably won't use. But, if it's 22 for the first reward, 33 for next tier , and then 44 for the next, I'm a lot more likely to put my attention into that collection, no doubt.

@TheJeweledLotus_PSN exactly and I’m not saying they should do this but based off this year there just wasting money on legends rights. How many legends actually have useable cards rn either drop guys like Hank Aaron, rocket, Gagne, Lee smith. Or drop there rights and reallocate ur budget to make smt in the game better.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN Al Leiter and Goose gossage needs 99’s too, amongst many others. I would expect some of those guys in upcoming programs, XP path, WS and WC rewards, and multiplayer. And then also extreme has to come, no way they leave out a community favorite w the year they had.

Extreme isn't on the schedule for this upcoming week (maybe it's one of the two programs? Doubt it ). The next week is a Weekend Classic...unless they go against the norm and run an extreme event during Weekend Classic then that's out of the question. I'd say that the last chance for Extreme is Thanksgiving weekend. That would probably give them two weeks before the 11th inning which is likely Forever (would make zero sense starting Extreme during Forever). Just estimations on my part.

I'm not an extreme fan, but given how many like it, it's baffling it hasn't made an appearance.
At a time when interest is at an all time low, it would have provided some much needed buzz.
