Easiest Collection Ever

Every time all the people are like "this collection will need every card, it will be so hard!"
And then it just kinda never is that. Its a bit underwhelming. Anyone who planned it out already has it, and its easy.

I think it's because Sal got that 'Heavy Lumber' 99 very recently.
Mets fans were screwed, as our only 2 were rewards, 434 and 138K if we want them! -
So, lets stop pretending its hard to do this game No Money Spent. Every dedicated Show player I know who's at least decent is sitting on 1.5mil stubs, and theres really nothing to spend on. The collection is done immediately.

Whilst you and i are in this place, there are plenty who are "dedicated and decent" who aren't because everyone plays the game differently.
Some people don't have the time, some think "flipping" is tedious and just want to play ball rather than cosplay as a stockbroker, others simply don't understand the market, there's even some who simply play how they enjoy rather than grinding everything.
It's very easy to just assume that because it's not an issue for you, that's it's not an issue, period, but that's really short sighted and sophomoric thinking.

Hmmm. All star collection needs the Carlos Beltran 83ovr that was something from mlb show 2025 that transferred to 2026 or something like that? No way to get it now? Can only get 49/50 needed cards?

It’s honestly kind of crazy some of the free cards SDS has been giving out as well. Finest Yordan for free is pretty generous.

It seems like they made up for the 1st drop. The Ely collection is super easy, I bought every chase when they tanked, I don't even need them except for Larry Walker. Gonna sell most them off maybe with the exception of Subway Posada but heck if and when we do get Biz, bye bye Posada.

That's a different argument.
I largely agree with you, they are by far the best live service game in terms of finding this balance.My point was merely that assuming that because it's not a problem for me (or others) means it's not a problem for anyone is rather myopic.
I'm not saying SDS need to absolve the problem, just that it exists.

In past years, there were long grinds where you had to plan way in advance, and it felt like a constant push to get there. There was team affinity too.
This year, none of the collections feel difficult. Most content just feels like its handed to the player.
The last L&F collection should require every single card that isnt the "super rare variant" (Randy, Rollins, Witt, etc). And it should have in-between rewards up to the final reward.

I would be capped on stubs and then some if I sold all the cards I didn’t need. This collection was super easy. But still, people will complain.

This is only easy for those of you that kept up all year. This year's game has been incredibly disappointing. Anyone recall previous years set collections? Finest Elly should be tied to Finest, and Finest alone.
