How about short programs for each WS game?
-
After last night‘s game with all the thrilling moments and crazy happenings, I wondered if maybe in the future SDS would consider doing small programs for each WS game rather than one at the end of the World Series? With all the moments in that game last night, it would be so cool to do something like that. I realize the turnaround on something like that would also be pretty crazy, but that’s why I just suggested it be a short program rather than a long one. Anyway, your work so far on the postseason has been wonderful. And that retro World Series program was incredibly great - short and sweet. Keep up the good work!

I think the postseason content has been lackluster, all the programs are too short, especially the retro programs. Either take your time and do a proper program, or do something along the line of what is being suggested here.
Use last year's spooky program as the model, that worked well.
I really think SDS now feels program quantity is the only thing that matters, program quality is irrelevant.

I disagree with you. I think the recent programs have been fine. So what if they’re a little shorter? Not everybody has the time to spend all day and play MLB the show. And not everybody is a top level player either. When I was playing here two years ago, I really felt lower level players were being ignored. It looks like some of that has changed and I’m really happy for that.

Are lower level players are better off? The two biggest changes over the last two years are explicitly anti- low level player (DQ and WC). Three years ago you innings pitched gave you a reasonable path to multiplayer completion, now if you can't hit you shouldn't bother.
I will never agree on the stance that less content is better. A mix of short and long grinds is healthy and the long grinds have been removed from the game and replaced with stuff like 'play 100 hours with pipeline players to get a single card'.

Which I have to admit I haven't done either one of those. The only one that interests me is the DeVries one but at that I don't want to take the time I would much rather purchase him.
