How are events matchmaking determined?. I seem to win the first game more often than not and then proceed to get my brains bashed in the next two games. I just dont understand the logic of this game anymore.

I face guys that whether you are pitching a Bronze or a 99 they absolutely pound the ball. It’s so frustrating that I have lost imterest in even playing them.

It’ll match based on your record during the run. If you’re 0-0 it’ll mostly match with 0-0 and so on. The longer it takes to find a game, the better the chance is that you’ll be playing someone without the same record.
All to say it’s basically random. I play a lot of events and have faced 6-0 WC guys and then kids on their Nintendo Switch.

Are you trying to find more favorable matchups? Check your opponent's batting averages before each game.

@Bridge-Piece_XBL it claims to matchmake every round, but I dont think it works until you get to win 8 or so. I can get to 8 wins in any event, then magically I start playing 1000-plus guys every game

I notice that during the day from 8:00 AM until around 4:00 or 5:00 PM I only tend to match up against higher level opponents. Content creators, 1000 rated banners, WS, 10x Flawless etc, they don't appear to have any sort of matchmaking whatsoever. I would love equal matchups or just tell me that there are no equivalent opponents available and I will play something else for a couple of hours. Don't queue me against people who are exponentially better at the game than me, I won't allow them to compile stats and PxP.
