Live series collections

I’m not buying next years game until August. LS collection rewards are basically useless. I enjoy the spotlight cards more anyway.

This year was pretty easy to make stubs, but there are just so many cards competing for stubs now
The lack of content at the inning start is absurd and I have no idea why they do this (I mean I kind of do, its to force people into weekend classic but it doesn't work for me, it just forces me into other games). That, combined with the CPU pitching being way more tedious than it should be, have made it tough for me to stay engaged with the game this year

I usually dont go for the "online vs offline" debate, since I like playing both - but its increasingly clear that they care more about online, and want you there.
The multiplayer path and event programs contain a TON of xp and unique cards. The inning path is a wasteland. Diamond Quest and Miniseasons are cooked. Conquest is a low-profit slog.
Playing offline could be interesting for even very skilled players - but they dont want that. Doesn't make money.

'Wasteland' is a perfect description of the inning XP paths these days!!! For me, Jake Arrieta is just up the barren, dirt road, lying in the dried up bird poo and crumpled soda cans, with the tumbleweed blowing by past the Ballin' roach crawling packs, and 50 stubs/crumbs they throw us heathens these sad Roctober days, preparing for joyous 5pm sunsets ahead, starting in November!!
'Can't wait' like Bart Scott for those!Although an amazing song, just check out the 'Wasteland' part. It gives the feel of the Inning XP path barren land 🤪 https://youtu.be/R8XgP8C2oqU?is=EYbfZki_jGp1izPl

Tulowitzki, Pulos and Felix Hernandez were/are useless? lol
they are still god squad caliber cards this late in the game cycle (October)
they’re the exact opposite of “useless”

Especially Tulowitzki... bro is a monster, especially against LHP.

@DrBear100_PSN I'm surprised to see some people taking Tulo out now - hes still clearly the best shortstop to me. Maybe they just want variety for the sake of variety.

I can't take him out my lineup, he's too productive offensively and defensively. I moved Sogard to LF and experimenting with playing Lindor at 2B with mixed results. He's not killing me, his bat is really good, he's actually plays decent at 2B, there were several defensive misplays that killed me in events over the weekend but I was over matched with playing against much better players so it didn't matter anyways, I was going to lose no matter what LOL.

@GodShammGod2_XBL Jeeeeesus christtt other than those 3. Do you see ANYONE using any of the others?? All that work for 3 useable cards. I’ll just wait till August from here on out.

I just sell of everything I get starting in March, making a boat load of stubs, then complete the LS collection once everything tanks in late Aug or early Sept, getting the gate keepers during a flash sale. Then, you just avoid the LS and all collections completely and play with cards you enjoy until the 99's arrive, and you have plenty of stubs without flipping to get what you want.

The only Live Series card I still have in my lineup is Tulo. Albert and Felix were the only other ones I played regularly but they’ve been gone for a while now. Out of the Masters, I still play Zobrist & Beltran. Miggy’s been gone for a while and Victor just got pushed out of the lineup recently.
