What’s puzzling me is the time frames involved. When you have a game with a lifespan of eight to nine months, it makes me annoyed that the game is broken for a quarter of that time every year in one way or another. They do it every year. Now we pay more cash on preorders for early access and a preorder card that isn’t worth a fraction of the extra cash and it makes you wonder why we bother. I wish it wasn’t the case but it is.
Agreed. This is my first year playing DD and I love the idea of it, playing against other users is more fun and seems more real (cant stand watching a CPU OFer put his head down and run to the exact spot the ball is going to land without ever tracking it), but not being able to have a timing window/result correct, or pitch direction correct after 10 plus years of making this game is unacceptable.

Yeah bro my good okay contact when the ball is in the middle of the pci totally exposes me for fly outs while my opponents do the same exact thing and get choppers in the infield for it’s or homeruns On okay contact lmao

The game has changed dramatically over the last week(since end of 1st regular season) You speak of people being exposed. The only people thatre actually being exposed are SDS. Gameplay is off rn. You must be one of the lesser players that they potentially made the participation nerf for.

I've adjusted to the hitting and pitching, and am fine with those for the most part. But fielding is bad. Too many errors in the infield, but that issue isn't even comparable to the issue where players whiff or get hit in their appendages by balls they get to. You can count the number of times that happens in the entire league on two hands, over 2400 games, every year. In this game, it happens to one or both sides just about every single game.

Fielding is the absolute worst, pitching is pretty bad, and the hitting is probably the best aspect but still even that needs work. I just lost my last game 7-3. I had went 6-11 on hard hit balls put in play meanwhile my opponent went 5-5 on hard hit balls put in play. They really need to revert the hitting back to what it was at release. Remember that chart that showcased that showed the batting average’s on hit input, yeah they just scraped that. This game has so much potential and could’ve been the best but has been plagued with rushed patches.

I enjoy playing this game during these endtimes. Whenever Trout takes another flyball off the noggin, I remember how grateful I am that we have this game to tide us over until the black death consumes us.
Every headliner pack bought brings us closer to pulling Trout.
