There's a few really good hitting tip videos from guys like YourFriendKyle and McGunski on youtube. I just started playing DD last October and I've made Championship Series 4 times since then just by watching their videos.

Biggest improvement for me and my PCI movement was moving the center of my thumb off the thumbstick. I found that just keeping light pressure with the side of my thumb led to me jerking the PCI around less and smoothly moving it to contact.

This is a great tip. I do the same.

Positioning your thumb on the stick in a different spot is great advice. Even try pulling up on your joystick to get it to be a tid bit higher can help (like a control freek). Maybe even try control freeks, they’re a pretty cheap investment. I use zone hitting so maybe this won’t help you. But try finding that sweet spot to start your pci. Wether it’s middle, middle in, up and in, up, or etc. Screw around with that cam, I go back and forth between strike and strike zone high. Look at every cam because they’re all different. There’s one or two where your farther back off the plate and you can see your hitter but the pitcher is a little closer while others he’s farther back. The most important thing you’ll hear anyone say is patience at the plate (which I tend to not have lol) But it’s true, your approach is everything. Get to know your opponent, know the count, and know the situation. Hope this helps guy
