They have been running close to the same schedule as last year, and last year we got one on 7-25. If that holds true and they stay with the Tuesday or Thursday routine, then the 21st or 23rd would make the most sense.

I kinda wondering the same thing. These people love to overpay for cards that if they just wait they will be able to get for a fraction.

This happens all the time - prices will stay way up for a card, even if it is clearly gonna tank soon. I dont know why the market doesnt anticipate

If Lieter doesn't come down then I will skip the Signature series for now. I just want Stanton or Berkman to come down so I can get one more card from the Postseason series, for insurance purposes.

I would think you need both Berkman and Stanton from postseason. Most series seem to have been forgotten about this year and so after 2 collections already there aren’t alot of skipable options.

Most of the traditional series like Break Out, Rookie, or Veteran essentially never get new cards now. This year ever new card is the new series they drop every couple of weeks like Mural or Cityscape. This makes the Legends and Flashbacks collection much more about chasing the new switch hitting collection player from the new card series and less about getting more of a variety of cards.
Not a fan of this change personally.

Friendly reminder that if you don't feel the need to try and complete the new collection day one then it can be a HUGE stub making opportunity. Sell off some expensive cards you've been holding on to right after it drops and then you'll more than likely be able to buy most of them back later at a much cheaper price or earn them again as more packs drop. Last collection drop I made about 750k and then still had Victor completed a few weeks later. Very much worth waiting it out.

That’s what I’m doing. I have enough cards I want to try out and spend some time with the way it is. I’ll wait a couple weeks and try to make stubs off of it.

@SpawnOfDitka_XBL wouldn’t be suprised if it’s Beltran watch them make it slightly harder then it would have been if it wasn’t a meta guy.

Beltran would just solidify the shift towards monetization. Last year the best Beltran card was the live series collection - so locked behind a collection and this year he would be locked behind a collection again. SDS circa 2019-2022 would not put the same player behind significant collections two years in a row. Therefore I am hopeful Beltran will be the program reward and andruw jones the collection.
I realize this is not likely.

Ken Singleton could be better than Beltran this year. Give him like 90 speed with maxed out hitting stats.

Or consider selling a few cards right before the collection comes out - often the market guesses too high on what a card will be worth. Or even worse, a card's value may tank if lots of people think you'll need the card, and you dont technically need it.

The nl east collection Ken singleton was low key amazing for me, it was hard to take him out of my lineup. Of course with the move away from legends in general to allow for 6 PCA cards it is unfortunate there hasn’t been an updated singleton.

I predicting the 99 HOF cards ARE NOT in a program. I don’t see them giving them away for free. They may have lower overall versions of Jones and Beltran in the program used to finish the program and used for collections. I’m thinking 99 HOF Jones will be like a halfway point in the collection and 99 HOF Beltran will be the legends and flashback collection reward.
The Bellinger thing was SO SCUMMY and I think it will continue this weekend. No one should be over that and people should be pissed. They straight up lied.
In no world do I see them giving us a 99 HOF Beltran for free. This should be one of the best meta cards ever. NOW, They could always “nerf” the card like Jordan Walker and hey that could be free!
