Showdown should be taken away, permanently.

I’m all for dragging this game in the mud it’s deserved but even I think you sound entitled. Take a game mode out because you suck is the most Gen Z response ever. Get rid of diamond quest that mode is a joke. How do you justify spending over an hour on a mode to get a silver card playing on HOF!!! If I wanted to play dungeons and dragons I would have bought that!!! If I beat the mode I should get the reward not have a 70-80% chance of HOF or better and get nothing meaningful.
-
@Jeff7407_PSN why make it to where you get to play conquest and complete it while others have to do multiple things. If anything they messed up with giving the entire program for conquest.
I agree with this.
-
@Nickc22_MLBTS what are you a millennial? LOL
-
@nymets1987_PSN ok so if you dont play often, even more reason to not make remarks that take away things from people who do play often.
What does playing often have to do with me struggling to get multiplayer awards when I did with no issue last 4 seasons?
-
@nymets1987_PSN Well, if you don’t play often, why would expect to get the best rewards?
-
@SpawnOfDitka_XBL I’ve always shared that opinion with you. I just don’t get the us vs them online offline thing. This game is meant to be played on and offline, but it’s best when people can play how they want with lots of options.
-
By far the worst mode online or offline in The Show is Showdown. It caters to a very select few players who are able to beat it the rest of us can't. The amount of Runs needed vs Outs allowed is so disproportionate its insane. Now you've locked an entire Program behind being able to beat that Showdown and thats just unacceptable as me and plenty of other players will now be unable to complete that Program. This is the worst Show game ever made and the Devs have absolutely no clue because you cater to small fraction of players vs the majority. FIX YOUR GAME PLEASE, take Showdown away or make it actually beatable.
Lol it's on veteran there kiddo, with a pitcher who throws 89 lol. It is pretty easy actually

What are you talking about, you can run through any of the DQ maps in about 30 minutes and then play on ANY difficulty. Yes your chances are less but it's pretty easy.
-
I just wish that they wouldn't force us to do showdown to complete the program, just put a repeatable mission in there to make it easier for people who don't like or have trouble doing showdowns
This season has been so backwards. Almost every program includes multiple ways to complete them, why is this one different? The all star “program” only needed a conquest to complete, not a single mission or moment. Why take away those options? Why not have 4HRD moments for 5 points each or an online PXP mission for the points in addition to showdown. Give us options. This is just backwards and not user friendly.
This one is different because it is a Home Run Derby program, so they included something that is the closest thing they have to a home run derby, facing a pitcher throwing nothing but 80mph fastballs and hitting a bunch of homeruns.
-
It took me 6 tries but I finally completed the showdown
-
Yea but an early version millennial I drank from the hose and was a latchkey kid so not the late model ones lol
. Someone crying over a mode because it’s to hard is one of the softest things ever. I not saying I’m great at this game. I can do the showdowns it might take a little but I’m not gonna want it removed just for the fact that I can’t do it. I can’t really do the extreme missions but I’m not crying to have that removed. -
my point is it forces you to play in a higher difficulty which is fine but if I’m playing in a higher difficulty then I should receive the reward. If I told you to go work for 1 hour and in the end I said you have a 70-80% chance to get paid if you worked really really hard would you do it?
-
@Nickc22_MLBTS it’s not a generational thing. They are bad millennials also. This is just a whiny post. It really shouldn’t even be on here but free speech and all.
-
Outside of the Degrom showdown they've been pretty easy this year. I'm just an average player and I'm pretty sure I've done all if not most on the 1st try. Yes the HR Derby one is a lot of runs and Ramone is all over the place but the dudes tossing 79 mph fastballs. Wait for one in the zone and blast it.
-
I agree it’s a post about someone crying and wanting a mode removed because they can’t do it. I know it’s not a generational thing it’s just funny because it’s definitely something a younger kid would say.

The only show down that forced a higher difficulty was the Gegrom one. I'm sorry but veteran is NOT a higher difficulty. I would even that All-star is basically the base DD difficulty since events, BR, and anything above division series is All-star. And if you're talking about DQ with your second statement. The harder you "work" the better your odds. This isn't a job this is a game. You aren't guaranteed to make WS and get the best rewards, you aren't guaranteed to finish programs, lol so your argument are without any actual facts.
-
Its very simple. Play at higher speeds you will get better at the game.. play a few games on hof vs the computers. When you go back to veteran you'll be a pro. This is baseball hitting is supposed to be hard. You have to train your mind on the higher difficulties. Takes practice. Hitting a 100 mph fastball will never be considered casual gameplay. Even on rookie.
Baseball will never be a relax and play game. It can be very fun. If you are willing to get better. Im 40. I dont ever play vs the computer on anything less than all star difficulties
-
rookie mode cpu this year doesn't throw strikes so you can't swing at everything

Same, but I'm below average and use directional. I beat all but DeGrom. Tried once and said nope, I'll just buy it.
