@capardo_XBL give it a minute. Happened to me also and now it’s working again. I don’t mind temporary cool downs if it gets rid of the bots.

I put in about 22 orders in a minute (or so). Sounds like there’s now a “time limit” on the number of orders you can place?? (I’m guessing).

@Bridge-Piece_XBL If it's temporary and it helps bots, cool. Worse things could happen.
The pessimist in me thinks otherwise though. I'm on cards that have never had a bot problem. I could place 20 orders at a time for minimum price. Come back hours later and sell them later for low maintenance profit. All this is doing is cutting the potential profit in half.

There was an update to the app (I got this morning) that said, “market throttle”. I guess this is what they were referring to? (Again, guessing)

Are all of you that are saying you’re restricted referring to the “slow it the [censored] down” pop that comes up? You’re not banned from the marketplace. You’re just making too many actions in a short period time. It’s a new-ish feature obviously in an effort to curtail bots. If you wait like 30 seconds you can place more. Or, take a half second between placing orders.
I’m sitting here thinking you are all getting banned from the marketplace.

Mine said something like “Please wait to make another transaction” it was pretty obvious as to what I was doing to trigger it. Maybe the messages are different for different people.
Right now I’m having login errors, so I can’t replicate it anyway. I was going to try and see what the message actually said.

That’s what mine said yesterday but now it’s saying account restricted. Which was the same pop up we got when we were falsely restricted earlier in the year. So probably some PTSD but right now the bots are mostly gone and if you slow down / wait after getting the pop up you can use the market as you’d like. Seems like a major W thus far.

Yup same here, spend my $ on something that makes me happy rather then just shake my head at the incompetence of SDS.

I like the cool down method, if it means the bots can't put in 25 orders at a time i'm all for it. I can wait when restricted for 30 seconds

As an aside, do you guys enjoy spending so much time buying silvers to exchange?
No judgement at all as i did it a lot last year and made a lot of stubs, but honestly, it was about the most tedious thing I have ever done in gaming and I'd rather just play naseball.

I buy gold equipment, buy all of the ones making profit amd then leave my orders for say 3/4 hours and check which ones have gone through and go from there.
My orders are flying right now, best it's been all year so far

I'm getting to place now with this game where I simply regret buying this game....ever. I get the trying to eliminate the bots, that's a good thing but instituting these effing restrictions is short sighted. If you guys were not so damned greedy you wouldn't have the issues with the bots in the marketplace, exploiters or the rampant cheating. All of those 3 things I mentioned is your player acting out against you SDS amongst other things that haven't been fixed. I absolutely do not agree with any of the cheating, exploits or bots, but when you make pack odds as abysmal as they are, stubs as inflated as they are you get this bad behavior. Your company has lost the faith and trusr of your player base. It's your damned fault SDS that this where we are today. Your alls remedies to these major issues is like you all spitting spit balls at a wall to see what sticks but in the process your shooting them in your loyal player bases eyeballs. SDS you all are some half baked idiots!

I’d also love some help! Of course I’m sure you’re beyond busy, but it seems like this is maybe a more widespread issue? I don’t use bots either (frankly I wouldn’t know how in the first place), but I’m getting the same error.

If SDS has coded up a revised script that places a throttle on accounts that trade rapidly, this is frankly an ingenious method to destroy bots. This means SDS doesn't have to laboriously track account ID's. Instead, they analyze what the account ID's do and take action as needed.
I have to give SDS kudos for determining an effective strategy to defeat bots.
