I love the idea of powering up some legend cards to full potential. Why can't that be available for Live Series cards? That would totally enhance the way that we play the game and diversify lineups further. My idea is

    • Early in Career Players can power up to a Future Stars version (Dahl, Moncada, Benintendi)
    • Middle in Career Star Players can power up to a Signature version (Arenado, Trout, Betts, etc.)
    • Middle in Career Non-Star Players can power up to a Veteran version (Hosmer, Pollock, Moreland)
    • Late in Career former stars can power up to a Prime version (Price, Votto, Donaldson)

This allows people to play however they want. If I want to play with a maxed out Cardinals team, I can power up all my cardinal players. Maybe its a serious grind to do so, but this concept opens up a range of ideas for team-building

No way, no thanks. We have enough fake cards already with Future Stars and Prospects.

Don’t give them this stupid idea. Enough with the non sense fictional cards already.

Thanks for the feedback. I didn't realize it was such an unpopular opinion. Just figured it was a cool way to have players play with cards they like without feeling non-competitive. But you all made good points.

It's a slippery slope, next thing you know they'll be selling you the card, then selling you upgrades. Plus it sucks for offline players.
