it’s completely temporary and purely because there’s an 88+ flash sale going on rn. 87s are the highest LS cards you cannot get in those packs so their value is inflated for as long as the sale is going on.

The market sure was weird yesterday. Usually everything dips from people trying to free up stubs to buy packs with but non-live series cards didn’t budge much yesterday. Most of the higher live series dropped in half due to the 88+packs and 85-87 diamonds shot up. Snell shooting up ftom 5 to 30k was unexpected and Bellenger doubled. I had some dupes of snell and was stoked to see them move so quickly at 30k. I’m no market expert but the way spotlight cards are down across the board and rare wbc cards have skyrocketed, I’d say the market was and still is in a weird place before and after the flash sale.

@Oliver230230230_PSN I noticed yesterday that many silvers and bronze were more than triple their normal price. It had me confused, I thought for sure they added a player exhange xp option or somthing.

I always wonder if its people doing stub transfers.

A lot people packed Ohtani and needed Blake snell to finish the collection. So his card was bought up really fast on the market and needed some time to replenish. People didn’t care what they paid after getting Ohtani so they could finish the dodgers and maybe the entire live collection

Ah ha! Now I feel kinda dumb not seeing that. Suppose that’s why bellinger nyc card shot up as well. I’m noticing some hyper bot activity on some of the live series diamonds atm. Almost feels like they are trying to prevent people from buying cards at the lowest bid more than trying to get the cards. Obviously it’s frustrating placing bids that are instantly beat by 1 stub, but then After deleting your bid, seeing the higher bids delete themselves so it’s like you never tried to go after the card makes it all seem pretty futile - which is not a vibe I’m after when playing video games. I’ve actually noticed a big decrease in bots the past week, which is great, but the bots I’m running into the last 24 hours are 1000% more focused on preventing people from picking up cards on the cheap and not making stubs… how’s it even possible for my bid to be beat before my screen even refreshes from putting the bid in… not even sure how some bot could see and enter a bid to beat mine before my screen even refreshes. It’s pretty sus…
