Not sure why my original thread was locked after 68 pages. But here is a new thread.
If you are stuck in a moment and can’t get out of it, post here. Vent about it and watch it magically go away.
Paul O’Neil. Please just get 3 hits

Try contact swinging, bloop hits over shortstop or 2nd base, and be patient against Clemens, he will eventually throw some cookies. It took me until the 10th inning on my 16th attempt, I was extremely happy because I wasn't sure how many more times I could try.

I'm not currently stuck on any moments but earlier this year I had a lot of trouble with one that I didn't see many mentions of at the time. For whatever reason, the Travis Hafner homerun moments in his cornerstone program drove me absolutely crazy. Took weeks before I finally got that stupid card.

I posted in another thread about this moment. I got frustrated after a lot of attempts, so I randomly rage bunted. It actually worked on the first two ABs and I got a contact blooper in the 4th AB luckily.
Overall I'm not very good at the game but I normally don't have trouble with moments. This one was definitely an exception.

LOL glad it's just not me. I think I've gotten 2 hits like 99 times now. I've basically given up on the card, just use the moment to warm up before I go into minis or conquest.

So are they ever going to admit that this was bad game design and fix it or is this just going to be another "F our customers"? A "moment" should not require three outcomes. Period. Especially not a required one. Around half a million players have the other three cornerstones. Only about 180,000 have O'Neil. The MAJORITY of the player base (almost 2/3) can't do this moment but, yeah, sure, let's just leave it like it is instead of admitting we f'd up, again. I just wasted an hour of my life on this, and still didn't get it.

They need to change the pitcher for this moment. A 97 Roger Clemens is simply ridiculous.
Also, are the uniforms still sparkling? That is extremely distracting. Also, waiting for the “git gud” crowd to start chiming in….

It's 3 hits on Veteran, it's seriously not that hard.

Make it 3 TB...fixed.

Whenever I'm stuck in a moment I start singing Hanging By A Moment

George Springer’s homerun #300 vs 62 overall Ryan Watson… please get me out of here

To be fair I havent played this inning so its not all about the moment sucking. Im sure the fact that the yankees have 1,458 other OFs doesnt help either.

O'Neill is a lefty, look for pitches down in the zone, clemens will throw a lot of splitters and sliders down there

@PAinPA_PSN The point is it's not about hitting the ball, it's getting hits. With the new MLB the Show 26 RNG the odds of NOT hitting right into an infielder, or the buggy new launch angle physics hanging your fly balls in the air where a guy in a wheel chair could run it down, and not having this happen 3 out of 4 at-bats is nearly astronomical.
I've gotten 2 hits by restart-scumming over and over, but the next two at-bats are always line-drives into mits or outfielders jogging, doing their laundry, reading fan mail, then finally raise their glove to catch that 40 degree launch angle hit where I'm 1 pixel under the ball.
Sorry but this moment is the poster child where "play OUR way or you don't get the reward" system is driving people away from this game.

That 'jogging' animation drives me nuts!
When you see it, you know you're cooked!
