Live series ohtani is a 95 now and it’s over 900k to even put in an offer. That’s insane to me they never should’ve lifted his cap of 500k

It'll come back down. This happens every time there is a roster update, people cashing in on investments are buying him. Plus add in the VMart collection.

@DemIsE4_XBL it's not ridiculous at all. The game is nearly the exact same every year. I've managed to complete live series and miggy up to now so it's not like it's impossible.

Sorry, but with the insane prices for cards, limited ways to earn a large amount of stubs, and number of cards required to complete collections that only come in pack luck (which I never have), I don’t see getting ANY 99s until maaaaybe the All-Star break, if then.
But Ohtani and Judge prices alone preclude completing the Live series any time soon. Victor Martinez is way out of reach. So a 99 Cabrera is the only possibility in the foreseeable future.
This is just absurd. Either give us better pack luck, better opportunities to earn rare cards, or better chances to earn stubs. Don’t really see the fun in getting the job 99 cards just when baseball season is over.
Usually by June/July I have enough stubs playing offline to complete the entire LIVE series. And a lot of stubbs left over.
This year forget it. I'm never going to get close to Judge and Ohtani even if I play this game until 27 comes out.
it's pretty obvious in 26 they want us to spend money. they're not even hiding it.

This collection is just ridiculous. Not even getting the halfway prize this time is kinda a slap in the face too. The requirements are like miggy on steroids.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN ngl they outdid themselves - like yes not being able to get hands on Figgins is a skill issue but needing Chase Leiter or Shohei for the Signature one (at least for now) is wild

Not getting this card day one like miggy. If I can get this card within the next month I’ll be happy. I’m lucky enough to have ls done which is a huge plus. For my skips rn I’m not rly sure time will tell ig. -
I've been playing for over a decade. It's much harder to complete collections this year than in years past. There are limited paths to completing certain collections, insanely high prices to complete the LIVE series, terrible pack luck/percentages -- literally every Chase Pack I've gotten has been a $3000 Live Series card --, and much harder to earn a lot of stubs. By this point last year, I'd completed the LIVE series. But it will easily be July, at the earliest, before I get any 99s and much later to complete LIVE. And I grind regularly -- at least 3 hours or more/day. Shouldn't be this hard.

If I pull ohtani (definitely not going to happen) I’m going to sell him right away and try to do collections. I would rather do collections and wait for live series later. It’s crazy how much these prices are going for!! Especially the egg hunt cards. Like wtf these cards aren’t even retrievable other then the market and they cost way to much!!

I don’t mean this in a condescending way, but stub management + flipping passively will get collections done easily.
I list every single card I get on the market. Buy cards when they dip, sell cards at high values, and passively flip.
All while only playing ~1.5 hours per day and working 60 hour weeks.
I have every card in the game outside of the new bosses, Mookie, the new WS rewards and then the ones we haven’t needed for card-based L&F collections.
It’s super tedious and I get people don’t want to do this. But it’s really the only way to do collections without spending serious $ or playing the game for a living.

This is why Ohtani and Judge should’ve been the first cards you went after if you were doing the LS collection. They go up most of the year, I got Ohtani at 600k and Judge at around 400k. After those two, the collection seems to go a ton faster, especially since the other gate keepers drop in price while those two just keep climbing.

Diamond Dynasty is THE MOST generous live series mode of all the sports games. It's not even close. It's ridiculously easy to get good cards and stubs by just playing the game. Stop being entitled and enjoy the game
