Madden is better

That’s my opinion and I gave this game a fair shot but Madden is without a doubt the better experience. Of course I’m going to get a lot of [censored] for this because this is a forum for the show but I’m willing to bet that majority of people outside these forums would take madden over this garbage SDS calls a video game.

I didn’t play Madden this year. There aren’t a lot people who are actually good at madden, just people who have time to watch YouTube for glitchy plays and blitz (not really blitzes just confuses the AI) setups.
I also play 2K MyTeam and I can confidently say the show is the best experience.

Heavy madden player here which includes a typical 16-18 wins in WL. Madden is NOT better.
Leave now with that garbage.

I really tried to give this game a fair chance in my comparison but at the state this game is right now it’s not even close. I enjoyed MUT more than DD. Now obviously there can still be some patches that could change my opinion. It is also annoying (according to these forums) but to get the best experience you should buy a monitor? Come on now lol

I'm 28, so I grew up on Madden, like I'm sure a lot of us did. Took like a 10 year break and got Madden 19 with AB on the cover. The game felt the same as it did 10 years ago (maybe even worse). I was appauled at how little progress they made in a decade.
Only updates seemed to be the MUT mode filled with micro transactions. Just sad!
Gameplay on madden sucks [censored]. 2K is the same where its about whoever can spam the cheesiest type of play that fools the AI (pick spam on 2K)

While I prefer the show to Madden, you cannot say there are not a lot of good Madden players.
Their player base is much, much larger than the Show's. So by sheer number's their base of elite players will be larger.Watch Gutfoxx, he is an elite player at both the Show and Madden and he has stopped playing the Show as much because of the problems with the game.

I have played both Madden 20 (dozens of hours) and even Fifa 20 (hundrets of hours) this year, but The Show 20 is by far the best of that three.
The Show has some issues of course, but still not so much issues like EA games have -
I see guys holding the hands of fat women and apparently they go home with these women and are romantically involved.
Personally, I couldn't do it but I'm not going to knock them for wanting to see that woman in her truest form. OP, I view you as that guy taking home a fat woman. More power to you, but it's not something I would do.

Good Madden players don't use skill. All of the top players simply use the flavor of the month game exploit. You can see it in the top madden tournaments. The game has become a joke of exploits and counter exploits. That's why the week after release you see youtube video after youtube video detailing plays that overload and break oline logic or hot routes and motion that break coverage. It has nothing to do with skill only what button combo you enter pre snap. Gutfox included. He doesn't even shy away from calling it out in his videos when he is doing it.

No. The last madden I played every player I played ran the Pats playbook and gun bunch. It was dumb. You can only be as good at madden as your ability to exploit the game. I would say the exact same about 2K.
I will NEVER watch Gutfoxx, he’s prolly one of the most annoying youtubers I’ve ever seen, I’d put him right up there with DBG.

Madden content and variety is better but the worst part is that you are stuck playing video game football which (for me) gets boring. I was a hard core MUT player from 15-18 but got bored with ‘19 after the super bowl and only last two months this year. Bored with it.

Gotta disagree with you on this one. Madden is normally a giant cheese fest but adding the X factors this year made it 100 times worse. Every online game was against one of two guy. Double tight and run stretch with Dickerson or mobile qb with escape artist and dashing deadeye. Everyone ran the same cheesy blitzes on defense. This game has some flaws but madden this past year was closer to nfl blitz than it was an actual sim

I drafted a team in fantasy franchise, played 3 games and never played again. Luckily it was game share and i never paid for it.
