Hate is a strong word, if you actually "hate" it, I would advise not playing. I can't imagine repeatedly playing/doing something I "hate".
The game has a lot of issues, and I haven't been playing much lately. But I don't "hate it".
I "hate" that I can't play/have the desire to play the game because the fielding is so broken.

Yes, thank you! I paid for what they promised in all the pre-release videos, and so far the only thing they have delivered is the content. The gameplay is so broken, the only thing I really do it login to see what double login cards I get, which are usually garbage anyways. Definitely didn't get what I paid for!
I don't think they will do it because that's the kind of company they are, but I would say some sort of compensation is well deserved by the community.

don't worry there will be a Friday flash sale to celebrate the dropping of the fielding patch. "spend 25,000 stubs to celebrate us making the game playable again"

Well you are assuming that they will get the patch correct! They haven't had a good track record of that so far this year. But there will be a flash sale anyways!

I didn't say it would actually be playable again, that is just going to be the headline they use for the "flash sale"

It's SUPPOSED to be better than this. All the hype about programs, cards etc... but fielders can't field. My diamond second baseman threw the ball wild to first on a routine groundball causing me now have to replay a Corbin moment that I was winning. It's annoyingly frustration.

And I paid for what I experienced during the beta. Legit, the ONLY thing that needed to be tuned from the beta was fielding and even that was in a better state than it is now.
Talk about a bait and switch.

Let’s not be redundant but also let’s be real... RS is garbage. Fastballs by mediocre pitchers are OP. Constant strike outs , little hits, majority HRs...boring as heck. Who else feels this way? Slowly losing the luster to even play.
I'm not a huge fan of 20 either, but for different reasons. I've actually gotten less strikeouts while pitching due to SDS never fixing the unrealistically high amount of check swings, anyone can swing too early on everything in order to get cheap walks and extremely pulled hits on a silver platter. While perfect input does get rewarded fairly consistently, any contact specifically labeled as "squared up" or "good good" seems to be nerfed arbitrarily in favor of "early ok" (and not to mention the abnormally high amounts of completely chased hits)
Fixing hitting is as simple as going back to 16 or early 17 where "good" timing and contact were rewarded the most, early/late timing resulted mostly in foul balls or contact outs, and swinging too early on trash in the dirt actually resulted in strikes called every time.
All these changes to hitting that nobody asked for (18's new hitting engine, nerf patches, etc) were blatantly made to cater to the huge ca$ual base and prevent them from quitting altogether

Been switching back and forth between COD and this, its amazing how much more fun and rewarding COD is. At times I feel like I am playing and being rewarded in MLB and others it feels like I have no control over anything. 2021 will be the first baseball game that I have not bought since NES days unless someone else makes one.

You should use button accuracy. When I make a throwing error, it is 100% my fault and I love it like that. If you are not, you are at the mercy of RNG.
