There was a Mauer card a few years ago that I absolutely LOVED. So that gets me excited, but depending on requirements or cost, I can let him pass. I am fortunate enough to have Campella, and he’s been fine. I love Posada cards, and may grab him while he’s this low contest him out.

I think the 88 Leiter is a better card due to his much better h/9 against righties. This year it’s about the reverse splits with pitchers with better opposite h/9 then same when you face mostly switch hitters

@go4stros25_PSN I agree with this I feel like my question here is how do I wanna disappoint myself. With leiters reverse splits not being as good as his 88 somehow or with Mauer. Do u guys think like with miggy there will be a baby Mauer or even another player u earn along the way?

Was it '23? That card was jacked, although I think it took a backseat to Adley for most cause of the switch hitting...I thought Mauer hit a lot better though and he had solid speed.

@xRatedGProdigyx_PSN if ur referring to his hof card which is the one ive hit rly well with i think it was 24. I loved that card only thing making me wanna do the collection.

@JDHalfrack_PSN yeah he was my end game catcher until they dropped adley I think. But if i remember right adley was stupid expensive that year I didn’t get him till like December.

Im at the point where Im using a lot more non switch-hitters just for fun, so Im gonna try to get Mauer. Adam Jones has been fun. I don't think thats probably the best decision if you're solely focused on getting the best team to play competitively...but I dont care about that, and Im bored of meta
It seems like a lot of really good players aren't completely in love with the new Leiter...hence he's now below 200k

@rubicante23_PSN for my line up idk about u but swing and how I perform with them matters a million times more then what hand they hit. If u can perform with a card switch hitters don’t matter.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN H vs right isn’t the end all be all. The improved control on the new card alone makes up for the lower hits. The new card is far and away a better card.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN Sure but K9 vs right, pitching clutch, (so runners in scoring position) control and stamina are all better on the new card. It’s not even close.
