League Glitched After Advancing to Postseason

Season one of our league finished up, but I had to simulate games. Once we played our alloted games to make sure the correct teams made the posetseason, because I have the amount of series games higher than the total number of games I would expect to play in the season.
Today my users tried to start the playoffs and the game froze and gave a network error. From my understanding, this is a glitch from SDS due to the simming? And was also told the only way around it was to join your second league (if you are in one), write in the message board, and it lets you back in the now glitched league (Becase I would like to complete the postseason if we can). Is there a way to fix this? Will the league go back to normal after the postseason if I advance the league again?
Is there a way to stop the league from glitching out at all? Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this? Because I can't find anything.

Here is the current work around for the network error glitch in the league. If your in another league, enter that league, then toggle through the dashboard to the message board section (not ALL or NEWS) type something in, it doesn't matter what, and then go back to this league and it should work. This has worked for me 100% of the time and as long as you don't back out of custom leagues completely, you can get back in.
