I have been purchasing MLB The Show for many years, including expensive editions, and I have always supported the game by playing it the way it was intended to be played.

I understand that this glitch was caused by an error on SDS’s side, and I am not necessarily asking for players to be banned. However, I do believe that some form of corrective action is necessary to preserve competitive balance and fairness for the rest of the community.

Many players were able to obtain rewards, cards, stubs, and progress through this glitch that would normally require weeks or even months of legitimate gameplay. As a player who has invested significant time and money into the game and who has chosen not to exploit bugs or use unfair methods, it is frustrating to see such a large competitive advantage created overnight.

In my opinion, the most reasonable solution would be for SDS to conduct a review of the accounts that benefited from the glitch and remove the rewards, cards, stubs, and progress obtained as a direct result of exploiting it. This would restore fairness without permanently punishing players or removing them from the game.

The issue is not that some players advanced faster; the issue is that they were able to bypass a progression system that the rest of the community is expected to complete through normal gameplay.

Fair competition is one of the foundations of Diamond Dynasty, and I hope SDS takes the necessary steps to protect the integrity of the mode for all players.

@miguellawyer_PSN well said sir!! Idk how many participated. Do you think SDS has the manpower or resources to dedicate to such an endeavor? I feel like SDS is nothing more than 5 dudes out there smoking weed with a “gone fishing” sign in the store window.

This was worded very well. I 100% agree, but I want them banned so I can be a snarky dismissive pr!ck to them like they are to us. You complain abiut the glitch and you get comments like "sound jealous", or "cry".

I would love to read their comments crying about being banned so I can laugh at them.
