Events need to be 24/7

@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN this is correct.
-
You know, I really thought they would eventually pivot away from this idea when they were doing weekly events but for only half the week.
Now we're probably going without an event for a full week for the second time in three weeks. The one week with an event was a moonshot. So about a month without an event where we can use decent pitchers.
No event over a three-day holiday? Not even for half-a-week? At a time where students are getting out of school and have time to play more? Nadda?
I don't get it.

@xRatedGProdigyx_PSN im going to say for the 50th time. Fire the person who's decision it was to take the fun out of online play and take away online programs. Walk him or her outa the building and throw their belongings in the street.
-
Seems like when they dont have an event running that runs along with an event program that the default event should just be the moonshot so that we can still work on multiplayer program even if it does not count towards the event program.
-
@warehousetom_PSN pr just do it like the used to. AL pitchers/NL batters, AL west vs NL west, all silver, all bronze, there are so many possibilities sds is just being lazy.
-
Eh just play ranked. Quit after 3 if you have to pee
Though agreed, it makes no sense to not have events run always - I personally despise events due to the reset ranking each entry
In events you’re paired with people that just absolutely demolish everything and strikeout never.
For those of us who suck we’d choose ranked once we’ve completed event programs
Personally I feel like people that like Events so much is for that exact reason - they can be paired with scrubs and win easily - as opposed to playing in their own skill bracket
-
That’s not it at all. I’m WS now, even if they paired me against 800, 900+ all the time (which happens quite often as I see the WS profile pic), I wouldn’t care. It’s an easy way to P up players, complete missions, and scratch the itch of playing online without having to worry about Rating, pitching rotation, and being stuck in your chair for an hour when you just want to play online. + it’s always on All-Star, which allows you to get offense up in numbers you can’t do on HOF often.
Everyone has fun in events. And the people that don’t are the ones that usually complain the most. Keeping us from playing it all the time is a tragedy and not very smart from SDS.

@JenkinMeyer_PSN events are very sweaty becsuse the top players play events to rank up their players and grind playet stats. They have to use their best players in ranked because god forbid they go against the meta and lose a game.
-
I find Events delightful, and I try to never play Ranked. The matchmaking is super random - if there's any event program going, you'll get lots of lower-ranked players. And right now, they only have Events if there's a program...which is very silly.
-
agreed. I often find I have 20 - 30 minutes to play. not 45. jeebz crykez
-
@BLAISEBLAISE_PSN its probably a bigger difference than that - ranked will take at least 3x playtime. Events are way quicker in and out. Use different cards, experiment, etc. I like BR for this too, but the stub cost is tough to accept.
-
no yea I play br but if I don't have a team drafted that takes from my minutes, plus it's 1500 stubbs, affordable at this point but, it adds up
