I know a lot of you will say that I’m just bad or mad that I lost, but I’ve lost plenty of games that I’ve dominated. I can take a loss, but some of these are just egregious.

Here is the game log: https://mlb26.theshow.com/games/846483769?platform=xbl&username=TossGawd

I out hit him 13 - 7 and out strike him out 14 - 4. I hit several balls with runners in scoring position 100+ MPH which ended up being lazy fly/pop outs to the middle of the infield. I know every hard hit ball won’t be a hit, but it seems like that should be a hit more than the 4-5 bloopers he hit.

One of the main plays that was atrocious was bases loaded with 1 out. I hit a line drive in front of his 95 Jose Ramirez playing his secondary position at LF (I’m sure the ball icon was red). I’m thinking there’s no way he gets to it, so I advance all my runners… of course he gets a diving catch with someone playing secondary position with yellow fielding attributes. He then gets a double play throwing it to 2nd.

His spotlight Elly was playing out of position at 2nd base and made several diving catches to end innings and wrap up double plays. Playing out of position and fielding attributes just don’t matter I guess?

I think the most hellacious sequence was in extras (yes this game went into extras). With Morejon pitching with red stamina, my Ian Happ hit a ball 107 to the top of the wall that was caught on his tippy toes. I advanced my runner to 3rd, then he switched to his spotlight Duran. My Elly then hits a ball between 3rd and short at 102 MPH that ended up being a diving catch, then throw to 1st to make it 2 outs. For the 3rd out my chipper lines out at 105 MPH.

I knew I was cooked after I didn’t score a run with all outs being hard hit. His first AB with whoever it was hit a 74 MPH blooper passing the pitcher and 2nd base to then walk it off. I think the pitch was an ankle height change up.

All and all, it just feels like inputs/attributes don’t matter. Similar to EA games where the RNG and DDA dictate the entire game. It’s just playing thru a simulation that is already decided. So many times when the pitch is perfect to the bottom corner, but somehow the pitch ends up hung middle middle for a HR.
