Mini seasons so annoying
-
I mean, if most of your mini season games are 1-0 and you're not playing on legend....
Then, the sad truth is you just have to get better at batting. Im not ridiculing - I stunk for a while, and still have awful stretches. But, once you get past a certain hump, everything seems so much easier
...its just night and day and you're all of a sudden like "oh, this is how it feels to be able to bat" -
All you gotta do is either find or make a stadium similar to Costco from last year.
-
Mini seasons is the best mode to play this year.
-
Yeah, a psa for those having trouble scoring runs - use Blank Canvas created stadium in the Vault

@Rubbaneck34_XBL yea if you like offline. But it’s brainrot at times.
-
Do 9 inning games in a 7 game season on Rookie. For some reason 3 inning games are all 1-0 or really low scoring snooze fests but 9 innings you can put up a dozen + runs easy in almost every game. The XP is ridiculously low in everything offline though.
-
It’s a massive push to get offline players to either quit the game or move online. Plus monetize the game as much as possible by putting as many good cards in packs while dropping minimal free cards which are always objectively worse than pack cards.
The direction is very clear as they are pushing the game to a niche market of online grinders and/or whales. They don’t care about quality or player experience anymore as their target market will stick around no matter what and spend money just to stay competitive online or simply because they are addicted to the packs.

Still such a fatalist

@Meshuggah077_PSN I AGREE! New Threads was absolutely torturous. Having to win 10 games on all-star to get Nimmo was evil.
The WBC mini season was great to grind with but it's so broken that I'm just going to grind conquest instead.
-
@ApolloZ_99_MLBTS How so? If you need to complete stat missions, you can do so while increasing player xp, loading up on packs. I play 9 inning games and love it.
-
Yeah not all mini-seasons are built the same. I flew through the WBC ones to get wins. I started the default one at 9 innings for stat games, I don't expect to ever finish it. Threads was harder but not as hard as Murals. I think Murals is set to "simulation" like Conquest games are, where you need a 90+ power hitter to hit a 95+ mph fastball perfect/perfect and you MIGHT (if RNG allows you) get a HR. Cityscapes is pretty easy and I'm still chasing the 75 HR mark on that one.

@Rubbaneck34_XBL it’s boring for me to play cpu for hours at a time. But that’s just me. Some of yall like it.
