Super fortunate to get Ohtani and Judge out of standards early, only to pull another Judge out of a standard just now.
Ridiculous that so many people can't pull a 90 overall live series and struggle all year to complete live series (that was me last year) yet they gift me three gatekeepers.
Anyway, I hope you all get my luck and get yourself the cards you need because it's brutal this year with the lack of stub making methods and must be utterly miserable trying to complete these sets without good luck.

Not only that, but I always seem to pull the TN card instead of the Spotlight card in these very short drops. Makes me want to vomit at this point. You see it's a diamond, but pow, it's another Topps Now! Even my early packs from the Mural map were full of poo. I feel 'viral from the Mural,' as in a virus and sick of these trash packs while almost every day I get the noti on my phone that one of my PSN friends has pulled yet another gatekeeper. Just sickening. He used to only play NHL, but I guess he got the DD bug and gets rewarded nicely with insane pack luck.
I've played DD since 2016 and have never felt this strongly about hanging it up because of these packs. -
Last month I pulled Skenes and Seager. Whole lot of nothin since then.

Always a good feeling but i immediately proceeded to get jammed by sinkers in the event with both of them lol
They’re nothing special. Don’t feel like you have to spend stubs to make up. Play with cards you like and do well with

Given they nerfed stub making, I think i would have tapped out by now had i not had this good fortune.

I'm not even remotely close. Still need about 850k. All base rounds and when I do happen to get a diamond it is usually a 3-4k scrub. I stopped grinding the [censored] out of mini seasons weeks ago because it was an absolute worthless time sink for minimal rewards.

That’s about where I am as my pack luck has been horrendous. When pack luck dictates your staying power on a game it means something is very wrong.

Now with the weather getting nicer and my son busy with real baseball wasting time grinding this game for packs of nothing seems pretty pointless.
Playing when a new program releases but beyond that I’m done. The days of the game rewarding time invested are long gone.

@NotesOfJohn_PSN I just pulled LS Tarik Skubal from a regular pack! After maybe two or three weeks of no good pulls since a LS Jose Ramirez.
Now it's gonna be a few weeks before I get anything good again lol

Haven’t pulled anything good in almost 2 months since I pulled Skenes. It’s beyond bad luck at this point and I don’t expect it to improve until the cards are completely irrelevant.
That’s my biggest issue. By the time most players approach completing collections the high diamonds have long been surpassed, the collection rewards are mid tier, and the game cycle is winding down.
If you want to squeeze people for stubs at launch and even for the first month then go ahead. After that though the reigns should be loosened somewhat to keep players engaged.
The current system is broken and I think a mass exodus is coming very soon with the arrival of summer and new games launching eminently.

Haha I get it. Just saying sure would be nice if people would dig in their heels a bit. Let the whales spend thousands in the first month, it’s their money. Then up pack odds to let others catch up and feel rewarded for their time spent grinding. Feel this would lead to a much happier player base and more money for SDS in the long run.
Personally, if I felt good about the game and was close to getting a player I wanted I’d be much more likely to spend vs feeling miles away where I just say nope spending gets me no closer to the card I want. As it stands now the game feels very geared towards whales, elite players and extreme grinders.

True. For some of us, we don't crave pack 'openings' anymore. They're more like 'keep packs closed,' because the nose knows and knew they'll be packs of poo, that makes vomit flow.

@TripleH-4481_PSN The more of us that vote with our wallets and go NMS the better. Offline NMS is the hardest way to play this game, it is not for the faint of heart, but it is possible and honestly it's a great flex

@doobiebross66-72_PSN tulo was a slow starter for me average got as low as .135 now he’s up to .304 Pujols just rakes he’s always been around .280/.320 for me and Felix is 15-3 with a 2.64 era for me I agree these cards aren’t super hero’s they aren’t gonna hit pitches for u but to say there not some kind of advantage when the next best cards are 5 overalls lower is a stretch I get using players u like but I’m not gonna use 93 Ortiz over 99 Pujols at 1b or 93 machado who I’m historically good with his cards over 99 miggy at 3b.
