Watching Big Inning right now and ngl I can’t believe they didn’t do anything for Rivalry Weekend this year - not that the Adolís García card at the end of the program last year was all that popular but there was some acknowledgment of what was going on (forgive me if I don’t believe the Armed Forces shop pack was enough)

Of course there was a big content drop today anyway but all of our thoughts about the cards are pretty well documented below, and the freaking Mexico City series that didn’t even have ABS available got an in-game spotlight

@ryguy034753_XBL it’s Subway/Beltway/I-70 series weekend. Same teams play each other on the same weekend every year so relatively easy to put something together content-wise for. (all 15 matchups are set based on mostly real geographical/divisional rivalries)

I just call it “F the AL”

Sony can’t fix MLB scheduling and it’s going to be until end of May that the Cardinals play the Cubs. The hells going on here? Way too much interleague play

Seeing AL teams is meant for playoffs and such, not for everyday games.

MLB needs to start scheduling division games, not games against whoever

Part of the majesty and allure of NL/AL is you never got to see what they had until the World Series

You could speculate, read baseball cards. Chase box scores but in the World Series they met for the first time

I hate interleague play so much. But I’m old and just might ask you to get off of my lawn so take what I say with a grain of salt
