Ongoing mini season pitcher glitches
-
I'm sure there's others, but two that persist endlessly are;
-
CPU being able to pitch the same guy game after game whilst your guys need rest.
I played a five game series on HoF (don't ask) and Mason Miller pitched in all five games, entering each at full energy yet my guys need two games off to recover. -
Reduced energy if CPU has the same pitcher in their bullpen.
I played a game of the new mini seasons today and put the new Corbin Burnes in my lineup.
It was my first ever game with him yet he entered with low energy and was tired by 9 pitches, all because the CPU also had him in their bullpen.
I know these are small things, but how do they persist, year on year, without being addressed?

The first isn’t a glitch.

@JDHalfrack_PSN Care to actually elaborate?

That’s just the setup of the mode. Can you imagine how much easier mini-seasons would be if not more only could you decide which starting pitcher the CPU was going to use, but they also had energy loss as well?! That’d be SOOOO cheese.
If we didn’t have access to a 2000-man farm system in mini-seasons, I could see them adding energy loss to CPU teams.
But when I’m allowed to pitch 35 different starting pitchers and 100 different bullpen guys if I wanted to, and the CPU is stuck with 13 total pitchers, then no…

I did a playoff series where Al Leiter started all three games. The next series had three different starting pitches. Was a bit baffled by that.

I'm playing 9 inning mini seasons, and I see the same thing. Leiter's stamina is 999.

Guys… the CPU starts their pitcher based on which pitcher slot you start. So if Al Leiter started three straight games, you started the same pitching slot three straight games.
