Online play is waay overrated in my book. It might be alright as a nice side distraction but its like cotton candy, too much of it and you realize there is no substance there. If this is the hill I need to die on, stick a bayonet in me now and get it over with already.

@Graeves-_PSN yea and offline play is any better. Might as well just play franchise. Offline play will always get stale faster than online.

It all sucks. Online and offline lol. Offline is boring, besides trying to accumulate stats and get cards. And online is a complete s h I t show of rng, cheaters, bad physics.

@Ditka06_MLBTS whenever I say this People say turn off cross play like ps5 doesn’t have cheaters. X box is worse but ps5 has are fair share of scum bags.

I guess that depends on the user. I've been playing The Show offline religiously year round since 2010 and because baseball is my passion, its never once gone stale. I still dabble online occasionally and thats what helps keep the offline aspect fresh. Seeing how terrible the online experience is. I love baseball dont get me wrong but online baseball sucks something awful, in large doses.

I agree, I an mostly an offline player too. I may play this event to get 10k xp other than that I don't like the players offered so that's where I'll stop. I may play a few ranked games for some extra xp but online play is horrendous. I love baseball and offline doesn't get old or stale for me. What does get old is the cesspool online is. I think SDS has allowed it to become the toxic monster that it is and they absolutely have no idea on how to fix it because it has gotten so bad. SDS just can't keep shutting their eyes really tightly and saying to themselves when I reopen them all will be better.... and then it's not and so they do it again and when they do reopen their eyes again they'll see a pink piece of paper saying they all don't have jobs anymore because the game has gone defunct.
