Monitor Setup - Tips?

I have a monitor that I am trying to use to play the game on ps5, but I do not see much of a difference btw this and my TV. Trying to figure out what settings I possibly need to adjust.
Does anyone use a monitor to play this game? If so what settings do you use? 1080? HDR on/off? Speed settings (normal, fast, faster) ect.? Anything I'm missing?

What hrz is your monitor? If you are on Xbox and have 144hrz or better go to settings and change your display output from 4K down and output to 144hrz. I did this with mine and it was a massive jump in hitting for me. Massive.

Here is the issue alot of people do not tell you. If you are going from playing on a larger TV down to a smaller monitor its going to take a while to adjust. You can definitely see the ball better on a larger TV, the tv is just not as fast. And some of these tvs are not that far off from monitors now. Place your monitor on a desk, sit 2 feet away from it. set the speed on fast, which would be the middle option. Make sure your monitor is hard wired, make sure your Xbox is also hard wired, (both). Everything hard wired. Make sure your monitor is set to 120hz settings. Then on your Xbox settings, set the resolution to 1440p at a 120hz, turn off 4k, turn off hdr...the game is not going to look as good as with 4k and hdr, doesnt matter, if you go online the game will not function nearly close to how it should with 4k settings on..
Even after you do all this. You are still going to run into issues, depending on who you play and the servers.
