    Starting to get super annoyed with the ridiculous CPU plays in RTTS. I've mostly avoided RTTS since TS20. I know it's always had an issue with creating plays for the RTTS player just because, but this year it seems beyond crazy.

    As an outfielder - waaaay too many runners tagging up to take 3rd on a fly out.

    As a first baseman (this is where it's just plain insane):

    • Inappropriate bunting: biting my tongue to this point... then top of the first vs Yankees, 2 out; then one after the next: Chapman bunts to 3rd for a single 1 RBI, Bellinger (yes, Bellinger!) bunts to catcher for a single, Wells bunts to pitcher for 3rd out.

    • Inappropriate steal attempts: waaaay too many runners with below 40 speed attempting to steal 2nd. I used to RTTS as a catcher back in TS20 and this was prevalent then).

    • Absolutely ridiculous turns at 1st: batter hits a single to right, the runner from either 1st or 2nd is going to score (that's fine), I get the QTE cutting off the throw and most of the time am unlikely to get an out at the plate but I know the batter is going to 2nd 100% of the time and sure enough the batter takes the turn at 1st and heads to 2nd. Sometimes I get the out, sometimes not, but that batter simply has no place attempting to get to 2nd. There is no situation in real life that would ever happen (without the batter being benched the next game anyway).

    I've just installed update 7 so there may be some improvement but I'm not holding my breath... all of these seem like they happen so that my RTTS player gets some fielding opportunities, however they are laughable and just detract from the game's realism.

    What is the experience of other RTTS players?

    You should look online for sliders that people use for more realistic gameplay. Might help a bit.

    I’ve complained a lot about the ridiculous forced OF assists in this game but it seems like that’s just how they want the game to be played. They really want their baseball sim having OFers with 3-4 OF assists a game.

    I’ve went to button accuracy (I think that’s what it is… where all you do is press the base with no meter) so I have no impact on how accurate my throws are. It helps more with the inflated assists. It also make me value increasing my throwing accuracy rating.

    But it sucks for plays that you’re not even really involved in. Like your teammates will even get thrown out by 20 feet trying to advance bases at times. It’s ridiculous.

    For stealing, this has been bad for years. For one it’s WAY too easy to steal. Especially when player locked. This year there have been complaints all over online about the steals in this game but again, they seem pretty content on this being how the game plays.

    So first off RTTS should basically be nothing but fun. If yoi are getting angry over a non competitive game mode, then you need to relax some. Next RTTS is programmed to give THE PLAYER as many chances at points as possible. Thats why there’s crazy come backs and so many assist chances. Just enjoy an offline non competitive mode and chill.

    @Rhyno1986_XBL

    Some people want more realistic stats and outcomes. Just because it’s an offline mode doesn’t mean it has to be an arcade mode.

    Having cleanup hitters bunting and guys getting thrown out by 20 feet trying advance on throws they have no business running on, is just bad baseball.

    They should at least give us an option to turn off the forced/unrealistic plays they are purposely implemented.
