Why is the bunt dance so common online?
-
I swear like one out of every 3 games people do this fake bunt before every pitch. Sometimes the bunt dance and sometimes just one bunt. From the beginning of the game.
What is the point?
-
I refuse to play against some strange rando stranger.
Find a core group of 29 other guys you can trust to play base ball the right way and don't deviate from that core.
You play against weirdos, they'll burn you every time. -
Trolling, most likely.

The only thing I can think of is they have problems 'staying back' on pitches. Maybe they're early on everything. Maybe.
-
They think it will mess up your timing when pitching.
-
When someone really fooled me on a pitch I give them a single bunt button tap as a gesture saying you got me but it won't happen again but yeah the dancing is annoying.
-
When I face a bunt dancer I start hitting intentional walk and sit in the option screen for a few moments. Usually fixes the issue, but sometimes they are such big chodes it takes a few more times. But I’ve always been able to kill the music of the bunt dancer.
-
Because the vast, vast majority of the online community are immature, toxic man babies devoid of the emotional intelligence to cope with anything not going their way.
