The hitting is so jacked up on ‘26. More often than not, good contact will get you a pop-up or grounder. Very few singles, doubles or HR’s, not to mention an annoying amount of line drives right at the infielder or outfielder. I had to drop the difficulty down to rookie. I had been playing on Hall of Fame before these hitting issues started.
Hitting was more balanced on ‘25. Check your game, developers. It has a few more bugs.

Thankfully I haven't started slumping at the plate yet any more than in 25 so I can manage until there is an update. It should be soon tho. Hope it doesn't turn me into Ted Williams tho.

I'm 70 years old and playing franchise on legend with the Giants in concert with the season. I'm batting .300 and top 3 in several offensive categories. For me, this game is playing excellent. I understand the frustration with lineouts, RGN , and other issues but for the most part it's been excellent.
