So how longs it going to take for these cheats to be blocked and banned?
-
@ryguy034753_XBL call it a hunch, but SDS will look at continuing to nerf ways to make stubs, and do very little about the cheaters. They’ve shown us since launch day what their priorities are this year
-
@Good-Talk-Bud_XBL yes more things will be taken away from the majority of us. As it already has. Because of the minority of cheaters. This now explains why ranked, br, and event programs have already been taken from us. So they would rather take from their majority player base because they wont stop the cheating, or cannot stop it either way. Got it. Its all coming together now. I think they knew this was a huge issue starting a few years ago and didnt bother to address the community. Smh. Instead they just started taking.

I just can't wrap my mind around the idea of people paying to cheat at a video game. What is even the purpose of this, to troll people? I buy a game because I enjoy to play it, not to let a computer program cheat its way to wins, cards, and stubs. What is the gratification behind that? I used to play CoD and couldn't understand why people had aim bots and such on there either. If you suck at a game so bad that you need to cheat, find something you are good at and don't ruin the experience for others. They shouldn't just be lifetime banned from the game, they should get console bans too.

Sds is getting blasted on Twitter really bad, Cannot lie to your community and think you can sweep it under the rug. They came out with a mobile game lmao. When they cant even fix the console game. Priorities are in the right spot i see.

@Ditka06_MLBTS prioritize are with the company account

-
@Skoolyz0301_PSN I could not have said this better not only are u paying for the game 100$ ur are paying over 200$ to cheat haven’t seen it but people in here are saying it costs a one time payment of 200$ then 30$ a month idk man sad world we live in hope all these people gets what’s coming to them… but losing hope on it as sds wants us to report the cheaters meaning we have to hand these pieces of garbage to them on a silver platter. So am I just supposed to report everybody I play?

@Teak2112_MLBTS the software is out there. So not only does the programmer who made the software have access to the code, but every other software dev in the gaming space is going to see how lucrative and successful the software is and they will make copy cats.
The show is cooked. Sds cant fix this. Even if this software gets banned, another one will take its place in a couple days. Once the cheat exists there is no going back, look at any competitive shooter. Hell Sony, Microsoft, and all the money behind apex, fortnite, counterstrike, warzone, and 2k still havent even figured out how to detect the cronus.
They can detect them. The problem is the companies need to use resources to ban the device. Then the cheat companies have a workaround very quick so the companies would then need to use more resources to keep up. The cheat companies need their product to work so they are going to use the resources to keep their product working. The gaming companies are not going to spend the resources (let's be real it comes down to money) to keep fighting them. That is why we are where we are with online gaming.

This is the only thing that matters to them. They deserve all the backlash and then some. Hope they get raked across the coals for all of this.

@TripleH-4481_PSN greed over customer satisfaction. Seems to be the new American way.

Yup. Cheating is something that all online games have to deal with. The Show was lucky it took this long to become mainstream
My suspicion is though that some of this is just tourism: people from 2K have found their way over to The Show only because its something new to cheat in and eventually the novelty will wear off. Combine that with the bans that will come and it will drop back down at some point. But it will never go away, and if you play competitive online games than there will always be cheaters. Its an arms race that game companies are always on the wrong side of.
2K can't stop the issue, and that is a game where one person quitting could be 10k lost revenue because it costs 10s of thousands of dollars to keep up with the top cards. I think its probable the cheaters have hurt 2K's bottom line by more than SDS makes off DD in an entire year. And its still rampant.

Yes corporate greed has wrecked a lot of things for sure.
