I wonder if anyone has tracked whether the CPU automatically rules out pitchers that start the game under a certain energy level. This could explain, as maybe Abreu is last man in the bullpen that day. Otherwise seems like a bug...thanks for submitting either way.
For Senga, I can understand continuing to roll with a starter that is having an awesome game.

They had two men sitting on the bench in the bullpen but the issue is the apparent removal of the penalty for pitchers with low stamina for CPU pitchers. Abreu has 20's stamina. Senga has 70's stamina. Neither should show that many innings or pitches.

What's interesting is this got more replies to "wrong forum" than when I posted detailed content regarding a major issue with franchise mode.

What's interesting is its a known major issue for years but SDS is fine with stamina as is. The Stamina attribute should be fluid and change only once a year based on how many innings per game he pitched the previous season. Also, someone with 99 stamina should have enough stamina to thro 99 pitches before hitting zero stamina in a game. Someone with 50 stamina should have enough stamina to thro 50 pitches before hitting zero stamina and someone with 10 stamina should have enough stamina to thro 10 pitches before hitting zero. And so on and so on for every number 0-99.
Also , when a pitcher pitches with zero stamina, an injury should occur within 10-15 pitches. How severe the injury is should be influenced by the durability rating.

It's not limited to franchise mode, I had a miniseasons game earlier(or yesterday) devin williams went 5 IP was 0 energy for 3 of them.
no loss of control just as difficult to hit and bailed out by hard contact going right to fielders.
was only that one game though, after that pitchers got tired and easier to hit and subbed out. -
@PAinPA_PSN 9 inning mini season stamina’s still messed up for CPU pitchers - they literally don’t start with full energy

I believe confidence is overwhelming stamina in MLBTS26. I've stopped being realistic and playing the game as it is currently designed - if my starting pitcher has high confidence I leave him in the game until he wins or loses. My bullpen is a mess.
Manage mode. Default sliders.
