Im definitely interested in the event, mostly because of Lux, and ill sell the rest for stubs, but at the very least they could have made it silver LS relievers. I don’t even have that much of a problem hitting Fierabend either, its just going to be annoying facing him every game
Far less annoying then face Kluber every game in the last event.
People have asked for differnt event line ups and roster setup well here is a wrinkle that puts offence at the forefront in letter innings much better then the Legend pictures vs silver hitters we got last year on hall of fame
Since players cant catch routine fly ball's or make routine fielding plays I'd say offence has been at the forefront since launch. How they have not released a patch to fix fielding yet or even addressed it in any way is mind blowing to me. Instead we get an event, that very few will play because the results will be determined by who suffered the game breaking error last.
Let's be fair though, content and gameplay are different teams. They could shut down all content releases but it's not going to get a patch any faster.

I understand that, and I get why they released the event, I am sure the content team wasn't expecting the gameplay to be so horribly disfigured that it would turn people off from the event and even the game itself, but come on....we are nearly a month in and fielding still hasn't been fixed?. The even scarier thing is that they have not said a word about it which to me, says, they think fielding is fine. There needs to be communication from SDS to its consumers, and there needs to be communication between teams at SDS, dropping content is great, but if its locked behind sh*t gameplay it's pretty useless to me.

well considering they made it 10x worse with their "fix" I would say that your worries are bang on.

My worry would be that the problem is in the AI route scripting. If that's the case and its baked in on the ground level, I dont know if they would have to recode the whole thing from the ground up.

Can someone post a link with the event info? Just checked both Twitter accounts and there is nothing regarding 6 innings or being able to use FOTF players... Just the rewards up to 50 W's.

I don't know why they would adopt a new fielding system to begin with, did they not have enough problems with fielding last year at launch, so they decided to double down this year?.

I don’t know where it says 6 innings but the players eligible are listed under the video of the rewards

I think that's a subjective statement, I am actually interested in this event simply due to the fact that bullpens will be pretty much all commons so no lead will really be safe.
Plus further to our discussion yesterday the fact FS are included I this event to me further points that FS are not part of TA and will be acquired other ways to be included in this event and likely include some bullpen arms to help the pens
If they're having FS cards in the Event; they will need to release some by tomorrow.

Luckily all your relief pitchers will be commons, so itll be your starters that have no stamina.

Not necessarily. The event is going to last for a while. People can start off using prospects and FotF, and add Future Stars to their lineup when they get released.

Yeah. I bought some Prospects with the sole purpose of selling them either once the Event dropped or after I made my run.
With it being 6 inn, 50 wins, and having already completed the 10 Stars for H2H Wins in any online format; I may just sell off who I bought and grind MTO.
I can always play the Event, depending in the length of it, during its last week.
