Do you think captains should boost more for less?

I feel like we could make some pretty sick theme teams if these captains could boost more stats and boost them higher. Idk the correct balance yet. But I know plus 6 ain't it. And for 15 players? PSH... It should be like 9 position players and you get plus 12-20. At least. Lets juice these bums up. That would be something worth playing with my whitesox guys. The pitcher captain would be something similar...

Only 9 players would be too low. It should be a higher number. You don’t want the boost to be too big otherwise it’s just gonna create a meta team for the franchises that usually get the best cards.

I know they don't want captains to be the new meta, but they also can't be completely unplayable. can they be somewhere in between, please?

Hell even last year the boosts were more and it pissed me off we had to wait like months to get a second captain
Some A hole in their team decided to make cool theme team captains irrelevant or just generally decided to ignore the idea entirely. 2 years ago captains had huge boosts

This is absolutely the truth and main problem. Screwing things up seems to be their norm.

I made an all Orioles team yesterday after seeing they had a pretty good positional card at each position and an ok bullpen (starting pitching not so great).
But I cannot tell if the captains are boosting or not. I cannot see it visually on any of the stats and I was wondering if this is just a visual bug and stats are being added in background or they don't work all together.
Does anyone know about this?

@rushmore_NSW from what I’ve seen discussing the topic (I should probably have tried with my Jackie event team but didn’t), I don’t think the boosts are working rn
