I'm sure other people have talked about it but is there any way to stop the game from messing with your lineups after you put them all exactly how you want them?

Nope. The cpu will do whatever it wants to, which is frustratingly annoying

I’m not sure if SDS considers this a “feature” or a “bug,” but it’s incredibly annoying. I get that they are trying to rotate slumping or lower OVR players to the bench, but I should still get to have 100% control over my lineup.

I’m playing another run with the White Sox and I understand that Luis Robert’s LS card is weaker than Avi Garcia’s (who i picked up just to be a bench bat), but I still want Robert starting every day. I’ve had to save my preferred lineup 3 times now and it’s annoying.

Also... I understand that they need to give starters a day off, but a) do that on simmed games, or b) don’t pick one day to give half my roster the day off. I was playing a game this morning and thought “...did half my starters all get the coronavirus??? Why are Danny Mendick, Leury Garcia, Avi Garcia and Adam Engel all on the field at the same time?” I checked the bench and Ketel Marte, Tim Anderson, Eloy, and Moncada were ALL ON THE BENCH!! Why would the game handicap me by giving 4 of my best players a simultaneous rest day???

Every time there is a trade, call up, player lock, mid season, playoff series, or anything different the CPU changes the lineup. It’s so frustrating having to check your lineup and having to waste a bench bat to fix your lineup every time you start a new game. The bullpen is even worse, I purposely move pictchers to long relief so I don’t have to pitch with them, only to have them returned a couples of games later by CPU.
