Any problems with losing/dimming pixels on OLED TVs after playing The Show?
-
I'm looking for a new TV and it seems OLED is generally better than QLED, but the caveat is that some video games with graphics that stay on the screen continually (like possibly the pitching and hitting graphics) can wear out those pixels, essentially burning the image into the screen when the game isn't on.
If anyone has an OLED TV and logs a lot of hours on the game, I'd love to get your feedback as I'd like to get the OLED is this isn't an issue.
Thanks.

I’ve had a LG C1 for about five years now and have played the game a lot every one of those 5 years, and I don’t have a hint of burn in. Recent OLEDs seem to be much more resilient than they were when they first came out. I was hesitant to buy one because of your same concerns and ended up also buying an extended warranty that ultimately I didn’t need.

@danh35_MLBTS Extended warranty is a good idea. Thanks for responding.

@danh35_MLBTS same, Have an LG C1 for so many years now, it is just now showing signs of very slight burn in, not noticeable while watching content, at 27,284 hours. Just purchased me an OLED monitor a few months ago and expect it to be even better

I have been using OLEDs since 2019 and have never had an issue.

I play on a lgc3 77 inch tv and havent had any problems. Ive fell asleep with the TV on, played thousands of hours on the show, left the game paused while I make dinner. Zero issues.
I remember being worried about this problem when I bought it. Just get the warranty and you should be good.
