Switch 2 Hit Timing Feedback Not Being Shown

I'm playing RTTS on the switch 2, and I can never see the hit timing feedback on the bottom left when a hit goes into play. I'm only seeing it before the next pitch after the ball goes foul or if I miss the swing. I see people playing on the PlayStation, and they get the hit timing feedback right after the hit even if it's in-play. Is there a setting that I have set up incorrectly? Or does this seem like a bug on the Switch version of the game?

I'm having the same problem -
Glad to see someone is having the same problem as me. I've scoured the settings and couldn't find anything so I believe it's a bug. Makes it almost unplayable for me since I've had no chance to adjust my timing nor experienced a perfect/perfect swing yet (maybe I have, but it won't tell me lol). Hopefully it gets fixed soon, I check every game update and so far nothing yet.

I submitted a bug report, but it doesn't look like there's a way to track that report in any system. Any ideas?
