SDS really needs to bring out the Billy Ripken error card for April first. Obviously they would need the "corrected" version but still would be funny
Except the error card was a Fleer card not a Topps card so the rights issue will stop this.

Posey maybe next year when he’s HOF eligible.
I really like the idea for Tony Gwynn as the collection. Would be one of the best cards in the game without 100+ power. Would fit where we are in the game. Maxed out contact and clutch. 70’s power. 90s speed stl. Great fielding. Then with mods this year you can just load it up on power/power

@Onix_Savage22_PSN I think you’ll need all but one of the collections. The big collections with a player will be enough. The ones that don’t yet have a player will need all but one or two. That’s my expectation.

@GoozeFn_PSN yeah only one I’m not rly in a good position with is spotlight atm I have only the 2 free ones haven’t bought any on the market. And awards it really depends if they count the rookie of the year ones which im assuming not since they belong to the 42 collection.

I think you need to consider st Patrick’s day and egg hunt as well but given your numbers above I’d assume you are very close

Also topps now and spotlight. Guessing you need all spotlight cards released including the drop this week and next week.

I'm going with a switch hitting C or OF like Posada or Mantle. SDS loves the switch hitters.

@Jeff7407_PSN I do have Andrew miller and victor Martinez I can sell day of assuming we won’t need every card from that set. if I sold both of those I would only be one short in veteran and one short in postseason. I would probably reallocate those stubs into more collection cards.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN becareful, they'll have a small collection of Egg, and St. Paddy's day cards, or you will just need Trout and i dont remember who the big pull for the Egg was. Durham?

@LIONED-33_XBL I haven’t touched these sets cause I’m assuming if they weren’t in they weren’t gonna get added. Ik they will add standout spotlight awards milestones. But I doubted we would see egg hunt or st Pattys.

@LIONED-33_XBL reason I’m sceptical is because last year egg hunt collection came with egg hunt content and this year it didn’t.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN Not confirmed yet but I can’t remember any cards in the history of this franchise not being tied to a collection.

@Onix_Savage22_PSN because the eggs were the collection. So Jazz (i think) who was the program reward was the actual card needed, maybe it wasn't the Rolan collection, but the later ones where you had go other cards before the big one as you completed other collection milestones.

So, I went back and looked at all the live series collections I could find as well as a couple of the first big collections cards curious to see which teams haven’t gotten one of these early juggernauts. This by no means a comprehensive list. I could not remember or find any live series collection rewards beyond 16. I could also only remember a couple of the big collections cards. Please add any if you think I might have missed someone based on the teams I’m listing that haven’t gotten an early 99. So the following teams haven’t had one:

Rays
Blue Jays
Guardians
Tigers
Twins
Angels
Reds
Brewers
Dbacks
Padres -
