Online Ranked - Custom Stadiums?

Can you not use custom stadiums on online ranked, even though the stadium shows it's approved for online play? Every time I select one, I am the road team and it never works. I know last year it worked for a while, then stopped. And if you chose a custom stadium, it was just throw you to Coors Field.

Anyone know? I searched, but don't see the answer. Thanks
