This game is so BROKENNNNNN. I keep having to close the game and restart it because it freezes when I do things like managing my squad or entering mini seasons.
Is this happening to anyone else?

Yes, it’s been going on since the game was released. They did a patch and it’s a lot better than it once was, but it still has issues. Maybe try deleting the game and reinstalling it.

It just happened to me again. I was trying to start a mini series game, but it froze before it let me select the time of day.

It appears to mainly be on Xbox when you port very old game engines and legacy code to new hardware, and it's done inefficiently and cheaply, these things tend to happen. Hopefully, they can fix them, but I doubt it. I think they poached all the A-tier developers and pushed them all to various Sony studios, and I think we're stuck with the slop that was left over, unfortunately.
