Prices up on everything

Collections are the 24th, I assume its demand for the cards? I hope its not being manipulated though. If you have the stubs and see the price drop bellow the average and its a rare pack I would buy it.

For what its worth, cards seemed lower in price to me during WC (although the 91s are going up)
I snagged the chase cards and Garcia during that time. I did expect Trout to dip but he didnt move much, grabbed him too. Ohtani came down a bit.

@LHUBison58_XBL strongly agree with this they could have very easily taught us who Rick Farrell and bobby doerr are instead of just throwing them at us. cause I’ll bet myself included 95% of the community didn’t know who these guys where. And I feel like I have fairly good ball knowledge and I found myself calling my grandfather asking about these guys.

@Teak2112_MLBTS what do u think the odds are they add an egg hunt collection and a st pattys day collection on the 24th. Cause rn it seems pretty bare bones I’m assuming they will add standouts and maybe award series and milestones I don’t think they will add signature series as there’s not enough cards.

I doubt easter or St Patricks Day gets added. Topps Now, Spotlight, and whatever the jackie program is will get added for sure

@T00MuchHam_XBL it’s been announced that a new Legends and Flashbacks collection is being released on the 24th (some of the vouchers for it are already in the game), and presumably it’ll be for a low-grade 99 overall player like they were last year, which gives it value in scarcity since the only other 99s are the three LS guys.

The spotlight legend collection is always a slog for me. Like, you need 10 cards, right? - and maybe you're gonna pack one of them? Im pretty annoyed by collections where there are a ton of cards in a certain "tier" and there's no way to grind for packs that have that tier.

But you can grind stubs to buy cards at least. There is just a lot of RNG involved.

Im in agreement with you. Ive played about 5 hours since the egg hunt program dropped, 4 program cards vs 12 pack cards is just exhausting and Im taking some time off from the miniseason grind.

@Teak2112_MLBTS egg is a great example - I have nice nostalgic memories of Ray Durham, but Im not gonna drop 30k for a card with no value to my team...and there's no other way to get those cards....I'd grind a diamond quest if I got an Easter pack with a 15 percent chance of higher tier, but that doesn't exist. Or, put it online and I'd grind a BR or Event for that....

What I have found in years past is the collection is incredibly tough the first week or two to complete, but it will settle down in price overtime. However, some cards just retain artificially inflated value all year. The Sandberg card is an example of this. I got Rolen done rather fast last year and I regretted it. I don’t like his swing and I have a personal dislike for Phillies in general. I won’t be chasing that collection as avidly this year as a result. I’ll get it done before June, but I’m not busting my hump to do it.
