I was just thinking this myself. Very poor results on diamonds, any diamonds, in the packs. Still not going to buy packs though. Sorry SDS.

Could be wrong but it really felt that packs were nerfed this past weekend. I opened up a TON and got Jakob Wilson. Of course my Chase pack was a gold.

The pack odds are always highly questionable. Buying packs is not even questionable...its just silly.
That said, I dont think flipping or investing should ever have become such a go-to thing - I suspect it makes the market even crummier. I have no issue with the idea of making a few stubs on investing - but it should be a few stubs, not big business and algorithms.

You'll go through dry spells. Ive been pretty lucky, but had a dry spell on packs yesterday when I opened 90 standard and only got 1 diamond jersey and a Jacob Wilson. Just keep grinding the pack luck will come.

Yeah I've had better luck grinding mini seasons.Packs are not worth buying I've bought 2 50 bundles and got Josh hader twice....

There are lots of ways to earn packs. No need to buy any. Hopefully your luck turns around

Those were all the free packs this weekend.
I think it was last weekend out of desperation I bought a 50 pack because at the rate I was going I wasn't getting Ohtani until September despite having A.L. done so I thought WTF can't get any worse. Didn't help.
Really about the only way I can earn packs now is a TON of grinding on the fan TA. You know 25k xp for 10 pack kind of thing. I needed 10k for the Yankees to get that 10 pack and went through 2 mini seasons with nothing but Yankees pitchers and got around 5k.

I didnt realize they put that WBC garbage in Ballin packs. This has always been exclusively Live Series Diamonds. What a joke.

Can’t remember the last diamond I pulled which has only furthered my early burnout with the game this year.
Certainly not expecting Judge or Ohtani but pulling just a few quick sell golds and flipping jerseys for 50 stubs a pop is getting really old super fast.
I went a long time without a diamond but I pulled Lindor today, that should be good for me for awhile as i'm in no rush to finish the LS collection this year and am working on the TA missions so for now i'll use the stubs to rent players for that.

That’s another way that they skew the odds. Dumbing down packs with non live series garbage golds and diamonds that go for quick sell value.
Additionally, quick sell values continue to decrease year over year. This further degrades the value of packs, ability to make stubs, and drives players towards spending real money. Good business move but pure greed.

I’ve pulled Skubal and Ramirez and about six or seven others like 87 or below. Still saving up to finish one league or the other.

I had a really tough run in the first few weeks but got both Ohtani and Judge from base packs in the last two weeks, which allowed me to complete live series.

Thanks and congrats. I’ve never had great luck with pulls going back 7 years of DD so this year is really no different. With prices of live series being sky high the last 2 years I’ve felt the pinch more than ever so it’s frustrating for sure.
Right now I just have like zero interest to continue grinding for nothing so I’m stepping away and will check in with new content drops and reassess from there. Other than the WBC content I’m not really having fun or enjoying this years game.
My brain has crunched the numbers and said this is simply not worth the time investment for so little reward.
