I can respect speed impacting the game, making guys with low power viable, but come on haha. It is crazy it seems like this year.

You dont even need PCA. You can steal with 60 steal with no extra lead - even when they pitch out! Insane.

Crazy, I figured I wasn’t the only one. What is the counter? Do you need pitchers with a perk to hold runners and a catcher with pop time?

Same, seems worse this year. Probably still used to the timing from previous years and the runners are faster now.

@I23SAVAGE23I_XBL I’m not sure that would work with the disengagement rules. I think catcher pop time and arm strength have to be tweaked to fix it. But I don’t think they really care.

Hard to believe they took a step backward on this. Throwing in a pickle is as unresponsive as ever and people are exploiting it. Guys like PCA can steal second without a lead on pitchouts, even third base.

Thats not 100% accurate. Right now you have really 2 choices for Catherine. Either pick a cather that has high hitting but low as hell pop time and arm, or go with a low hitting non switch hitter who has high arm strength, accuracy, and pop time. Then you can mitigate the steals for some people, bit then your sacrificing the hitting. I will say this IS what I like about power creep. If the could just fix the hitting so 40% of the perfect swings aren't line/fly outs, the slider shrinkage lie, and the perfect umpire lie. I would really feel like the game made a step forward. But yeah here we are lol.
