Has any word ever been said why Nike Gear doesn’t get to be used in Franchise mode?

Nike gear is usable in franchise mode. I’m literally in franchise mode right now and can see all the Nike gear usable and clear as day.

Could be wrong but I think CottMan is referencing Nike Gear for Sponsorships? You can see the Jordan and Nike cards as Diamond sponsors but you can not purchase or pack either card to be used in Franchise.

I’ve packed the silver Jordan sponsorship a couple of times out of standard packs. I think the Nike one as well. You just can’t buy or sell them.

I did specifically say Diamond in my post. But also, why would you be limited on buying/selling them in the market? I understand how they might try to limit some No Sell options, but they are limiting the cards you pack/buy? I'm a franchise only guy so I admit that my pack opening knowledge is limited but what is the strategy in that? That literally removes a method for SDS to make more $$ and that is really all they care about.

I don’t think anyone really knows. It’s with Jordan and Nike specifically. I’m assuming it has something to do with their rights to use their brands. It sucks as a mainly RTTS player because you basically just have to get lucky to use any of the Nike or Jordan equipment on your player. And the equipment isn’t even in standard packs. They’re in packs that you earn every so often in RTTS gameplay.
