I made a post about this a few days ago but got no help, so going to try again. Maybe sds will see this, as emailing them goes no where.

If I try to steal a bag and do a hit and run my runner seems to always go back to the bag when I hit the ball, even if it’s clearly a line drive basehit, and even with TWO OUTS. This has cost me dearly as by the time he’s going back and you have to restart him he’s lucky to not get thrown out at the base in front of him, let alone score.

I’m having this issue sometimes not even stealing where the runner goes back to forst base on basehits for some reason instead of advancing even with two outs.

I do not have air baserunning on, I run analog select.

Can someone help me figure this out as now I feel like I can’t swing if I steal which is incredibly limiting, and also the return to base glitch is happening sometimes outside of stealing even.

How is the AI this bad that if you’s stealing with two outs the guy still returns to the base automatically against my input, like what are you returning for, if the ball gets caught the inning is over.

I don’t see any other settings to mess with under baserunning so I’m lost on what to do. Other people have to have the issue too, it’s can’t be just me. Can someone help a brother out

I’m having the issue that my runner on contact with less then 2 outs just book it to the next base. Has resulted in so many double plays this year for me. I just checked I have auto base running off. The game so far this year has blown my mind. Like I’m sorry people will approach with “that’s baseball” comments but not it’s not I’ve played enough baseball that u know u freeze on a line drive. Feel like this is just another way that sds can decide games outcomes. Cause idk why but my runner will only turn around after he reaches the next base so he even gets hosed on fly balls sometimes while trying to tag up base running is just ridiculous.

I have been complaining about this for a few years now and they will not fix it. They do not even respond to the complaint. I lose so mane games because of this and it makes the game not fun at all.
