Yeah, not a fan of where they're going with this stuff.
Last year we would get the player for winning the mini seasons, now 11 wins on all-star? Pass.

I posted about this being a strange, random, excessive goal shortly after the mini seasons was released. 11 wins on all star for a mediocre card that has sub par power. Then asking you to hit 5 HRs with it afterwards was icing on the cake.

They should’ve done something similar to what they did with the event, make it XP based. That way you could play whatever level you want and still get it done. Play rookie may take longer, but at least you’re grinding toward it.

There have been rewards in the past tied to the level you play in mini, but it may be the first time a player was attached to it. I can see how it's hard for some players, but give it a try. You'll probably do it sooner than you think.

Let people pick their fun. Pxp being faster on all star is a good incentive already to play it (I typiclly play conquest on all star this year specifically for that reason), forcing it just will turn away people in the long run.Exactly! 100%! You hit the nail on the head. Why does unlocking Nimmo have to be a sweat fest. I play this game because I love baseball and want to have fun, not be stressed out.

I managed to win 9 games on all star and then lost two in a row. It was like running into a brick wall. My pitchers couldn't pitch and my hitters couldn't make good contact. I just got fed up and put the controller down for the day.
The lineups I ran into were absolutely stacked with the highest cards available right now, like the live series collection rewards—Pujols, Tulo... I can't compete against that on all-star! Not unless the baseball gods favor me and I get Shohei in a pack. I just wish the teams I faced were more balanced compared to the team I have.

Here is a tip for you that I use on all star. Stack your bench with speed guys 80 or higher. Then if you get on base with a guy lower than 80 speed sub in a pinch runner and steal 2nd and 3rd base. Then just hit a sac fly or put the ball in play. Do this to get 2 or 3 runs and that’s usually enough to get the win. Hope this helps as it’s been my go to and seems to work most of the time. I'm convinced that this goal is someone's sick joke. I've submitted feedback about this twice, now. The difficulty of this goal needs to be addressed. I don't think it's right to force me to do this on all star. Making it an anxiety inducing sweat fest should be a player choice

Because facing the cpu on legend is easier than facing a person on allstar. Just the way it is, 10 x harder online vs some, it’s not even close. -
I just lost to that same team with Tulo, Pujols, and all silvers on ROOKIE. ROOKIE! Beat me with the ghost runner on second. Can't beat them on all star. Can't beat them on rookie. I'm wondering if it's just rigged at this point
Maybe I should just give up altogether and come back when my team is more stacked with cards that are better than high 80s and low 90s.
I wanted to play mini seasons to earn packs and such, but obviously this isn't working out for me. I'm gonna need a different offline mode to grind. Unfortunately conquest is stingy right now.

WBC miniseason has weaker teams, you could run that until you getter better players for NT

Yeah, WBC is the way to go! 7 pretty straightforward games to get a 10 pack. Do it 5 times ( and win), get a 5 pack of Ballin’.
No guarantees of Diamonds, but doable for us offliners.
