Depends on the changes, like right now there’s a bug where the astros cubs and guardians star times are at 1:00 then at all star break they’re at 4. So when that’s fixed(hopefully next patch) you’ll have to restart a franchise for the proper times to be used.

You don't have to. All you do is load the live roster and the player models get updated in franchise without restarting. The stats/attributes do not update, just cosmetics.

Yes I know for roster updates and for new scan faces you have to restart it.
If you just care about the player faces you do not have to restart. If you want the updated attributes you do.

Attributes are editable, no need to restart because of that.

Another question nobody seems to give me the answer are you having any issues with players who have dreads ? Read on X that even last year people are having issues some what either it has a slight glitch or something with a player who has dreads

@That70s_Gamer_PSN I mean I somewhat care about the updated faces when starting a Franchise but also I am not going to wait for months and months for that. So are you saying when they release updated face scans I don’t need to restart a franchise ? They’ll just be implemented into my current one ?

@LookAt_MeNowww_PSN Players who already have face scans will update with any changes added to them automatically. But players who haven’t been scanned in yet won’t be automatically added once they are scanned in.
For example, right now Mariners prospect Colt Emerson does not have a face scan/player model. If you start a franchise now, he will stay this way even if they add a face scan/player model later. It’s unfortunate but that’s the way it is right now.

@bleachfro_MLBTS oh word alright makes sense now. But updates/bug fixes that they do for franchise will get implemented to your current one right without needing to restart?

@LookAt_MeNowww_PSN Yes, in my understanding the only thing that won’t update are generic players without scans.
