Another annoying bug

The game isnt properly utilizing closers and is routinely using me to either pitch a single out in the 8th when bases are loaded with 2 out then proceeding to replace me with the set up pitcher in the 9 or putting me in in the 9th while we are 6-12 run behind.

Also, if you are a starter and get rep'd in the 9th winning with a runner on base the closer that reps you dosnt register and you get all 9 runs and the loss they score against you with the closer not even being registered being put into the game =p

And yet i would still have this other than Mia Lewis texing me on how men are stronger and how shes going to give up and online post about them every 2 min
what a standard of acceptance from me, i am ashamed.

@XxSoLiSxX_PSN that has been happening since at least 24 edition but yeah they need to fix this cause otherwise this will break my 21 year streak of buying the game.

I think your problem might be Hook management, Go to your sliders and under general CPU Manager Hook, slide that bad boy all the way to the left and it should work alot better for you.

@XxSoLiSxX_PSN and i have 99 stamina 99 clutch and 0 runs allowed the guy they were replacing me with 55 clutch 65 stamina and 23 runs allowed

Hmmm did you choose your team or get drafted randomly? i remember in a older version of the game that if you choose a team with a elite closer as a closer they would move you to reliever position with out really telling you. But that was a very long time ago, i had thought they got rid of that mechanic. I have a closer and it played out fine for my play thou but i did random draft. And the only time it had done to me with what it is doing to you was in like MLB 2018ish.

Like right now as a 2 way player Ohtani is subbing in for me in the All star game in the 7th inning so i for sure thought they got rid of that
hah.Then i dont know, could just be some bug. I believe it could happen with all the stuff ive read and experienced so far but the being asked to change position mechanic hasnt been in the game for years now. And when was the last time you were able to choose the reviler position in this game hah. Im sorry for your hours lost of play but i think the only way to get what you want is either keep playing until they trade the guy above you, restart, or play long enuff to ask for trade again wich might restart the timer on makeing it to the next level in what ever level you are in AA, or AAA.

Perhaps it will fix itself if you sign a contract to a different team. your 6th year you can become a free agent it could fix itself with that.
Sorry kinda threw me off being multi years into the majors having this problem, usually these things are for like AA/AAA issues for teams.

You know, i would think that they traded for you and are making space for you but trading the other players takes time ect ect but this is a SDS game. I think there is a post about the game having problems after the 3rd season of RTTS and if you are in the 5th season well... i wonder if they fixed that
And then i remember no mater how well you do in your rookie season till arbitration and even during they want to just pay you the league minimum. Could be drafted in the first round 2nd overall wich i think is the highest you can do unless you go to school. MVP WS MVP Cy Young Home run champ base stealing champ ect ect ect, and they still only offer you 800k
i dont know man i really hope your problem finds a solution with that 6th year contract.

the messed up part is they are paying me 13 million for this year the previous year they paid me 8 million and the year before it was 3 million and are barely using me

speaking of salary man i wish we could do something with the money, the NHL game on PS i usually buy when it goes down for to 5 bucks or ill do the 99 cent for a month EA sub to play it. but with the salary you get in that game it adds up and you can buy like a little beat up corvette and a little apartment and it deducts from your wages. its nice to feel like you need to play better to own things they give lil buffs like + 1 to speed and + 2 to durability during home games. this games like, here is the min contract till we are forced to give you money even thou most first rounders make like 10ish + mil a year. then during arbitration they want to still give you the min for 3 more years, even thou arbitration earch year will give you 10 + mil to 15 to 20 mil. And yet you do nothing with all that money
