Gotta call BS.

So, every year I buy the game and my wife gets me a 50$ PSN card to kind of jump start my team. Beyond that, I don't spend anything else. I manage to complete the LS collection with some years taking me longer than others. Last season took the longest even with pulling Ohtani on release due to the increased difficulty in flipping and so many LS cards becoming so called "gatekeepers."
I have seen videos posted at around the 2 week mark of people completing the LS collection with "No money spent," and I just don't believe it. Even today, with some prices having dropped from the release rush, the 14 most expensive cards are still running nearly 2.4 million stubs. Unless they have just gotten obscenely lucky with their pulls, I don't believe most of those claiming "NMS" are being truthful.
This is pointless, I know, just felt like ranting a bit.
I actually watch a lot of those content creators and can point out one thing most of them have in common - they are the ones who are brought in by SDS to test the game out before launch, and some of them are "partnered" with SDS and/or are influencers for The Show.
Don't you notice how none of them take a hard stand about the flaws in the game? They usually take soft stands (usually about something obvious and users already in an uproar about) that they follow up with by ending with something positive that promotes the game as a whole, despite its flaws. And they always avoid talking about the things the SDS avoids talking about.

@Tuke7-1_PSN that’s awesome you have the opportunity to play at work. I unfortunately can only play on weekends usually in the summer. By the time I get home I’m so dead I just wanna eat and go to bed lol

You want flipping tips? Take a look at the market a couple of times during the day, decide what cards you want to go for, either watch the market for a little or start slow and small and work your way up.

I just want a new engine specifically designed for next gen. FFS, the PS5 has been out for 6 years. After 6 years of the PS4, you couldn't find anything for PS3, and yet, SDS is still using the same engine for last gen consoles.

Then file a complaint with MLB, they’re the ones that handcuffed us to old gen systems.

Honestly most people that say they are no money spent are the content creator like gomes koogs shelfy and others that play up to the devs so it looks good for the game and say well look at my team even a common player can have this team and then gets that person to buy. I believe these creators are getting a kickback with packs.

If you're NMS and you don't have some cheesy stub-making method (like some flipping algorithm), it's gonna take you till July, with average luck. But, that's how it's intended to be. Maybe longer if you also try to buy new collections, spotlight, etc.
If we lived in the old pre-microtransactions vudeo game world, people would just accept this....remember the days when you actually had to do everything in a game to get the best rewards? The old days, before content creators were a thing - ah, nostalgia
No youtube walk through videos for story mode games either, we actually had to think how to get ahead whenever we got stuck.

i respect free to play players bc they have to grind throu the full game to get the achivements they want. But i find that most lie and try to pretend they got god tier RnG 400x.
When you watch a man spend 5k usd opening packs and not pull a Judge or Otani and in my opinion not that many diamond duplicates. He couldnt complete most of his completion stuff its just lol. FTP is designed to entice you to spend money. look at all those people claiming fake bans for "flipping" how many are real? how many are lies? There is a reason someone made that program.
But is it possible? sure, 1 unicorn outa some number prolly in the 6 figures. Is it as many as people claim? No
And b4 you guys make fun of that money spender guy. Remember with multiple K viewers he prolly made that money back + writeing off for taxes as buisness expense and all that blah blah. So in the end, did he spend money? i guess it depends on how you view the truth. Think those same streamers that say no money spent think that way? =p

Seriously it is NOT that hard to be NMS and get collections done. Did it by the end of April last year and on pace this year too. Only need Ohtani and Skenes to finish NL and pulled judge yesterday so only need Witt and Jram for expensive diamonds in AL. Just grind a couple WBC mini seasons (7 games) and a couple DQ runs (30minutes) a week and you can usually have 100+ standards and 15-25 Ballin packs. This isn't including extra packs from TA if you keep changing you players to grind that at the same time. I mean in the first couple weeks if you completed ALL the conquests, mini seasons, DQ, and programs you'd probably have gotten around 600 standards. Even flipping which I have never done isn't necessary. But to put it in perspective ALOT of of the people who do legitimately get collections done in a couple weeks can go 10-0 multiple times where the possible rewards have an extreme ceiling.

Im not saying it can't be done. What I am saying is it is INCREDIBLY difficult to have it done in just over 2 weeks w/o spending $. I have done all the Conquest, played multiple WBC mini seasons while knocking out TA requirements along the way, and I have pulled maybe 5 diamonds with Acuna being the highest priced of them all. It is what it is, last year I had great pull luck, not so much this year.

If 100 people claimed they pulled these players NMS thats less than .005 percent.
Sounds legit to me and not bs but jealousy in humans is a real thing too, and not bs either. -
@DemIsE4_XBL i agree, people like yourself, who feel they can't do something, so instead of doing something about it they complain. Have a great day. I truly hope you get LS collection completed before July.

Who's complaining? I just simply stated facts. You will not complete the LS collections with those things I said. I play anyway fully aware that it will take a miracle to get the LS done before July. I'll get them when I get them but people need to be realistic when it comes to NMS and the things that need to happen in order to get the collection done. Just playing isn't it.

Another one. Pulled a 400k Judge. If you had to grind another 400k on top of those big ones you still got, I highly doubt you would be done by maybe June. Funny how people that say NMS is not hard either:
Lucky pulls (yea Judge counts)
10 win BR demon
FlippingReally not a hard concept. Yes, it is really hard without these. Maybe SDS should just give you a few 5k diamonds and see what you think about it. Comprehension is very hard on these forums.
